Hello everyone and here goes with NSD number 1!

    (purple or red? decisions, decisions!)

Hope July is a fantastic one for us all. My DD and her OH came over for a visit this pm, and a fair amount of vino was consumed. I just had one drink then stuck to water as I was giving them a lift later, so I am fine and clear headed. Not so my OH, though. He is currently comatose in the armchair, his shirt covered in red wine vomit, and he won't let me assist him to remove it. So, having checked he is not in danger of aspirating, I have retired to the pooter room to report my first NSD of the month. I have no sympathy for him - he rarely drinks, but when he does he really pushes the boat out! What a plonker!

Hi Spoony. Loving the shiny new thread :D

Can you put me down for 10 NSDs again this month? Ta muchly :D

Not got any to declare so far this month as it's been my nephew's birthday which has required some spendies, plus our local f0cus is busily selling off anything and everything at lower and lower prices so we've been stocking up on bits for every bit of DIY we had planned while it's going cheap. Hopefully back onto the straight and narrow now though. :D

Eugh! Nargle i do not envy you on that one - I take it that it's not a fav shirt as red wine (either pre or prost inital consumption) is a pain in the bum to get out. Is he working tomorrow?

Well I'm declaring NSD #2 :j:j I must get on track this month as we have friends coming to stay at the beginning of aug PLUS a wedding reception in London and my hair being done all within the first week of Aug so I need to have some spends saved up for then.

I do however seem to have quite a few gift cards in my purse so must check the exp dates on those - I have one of those pre paid Mastercard things that expires soon for £25 but you can't use it as a part payment and I keep forgetting I have the bloomin thing  Perhaps I'll use it next time I get petrol and then I'll take the cash out as treat cash.

    Greetings from France

NSD no 1 today. It was quite easy to get as the shops were all closed. Spent a lovely day relaxing in the garden in the sun. Out for lunch, shopping and sightseeing tomorrow.

    Evening all,

Back from a weekend of packing and storing. The majority of our stuff is now stored away and its just 8 days till I move back up with my DH. Hot and sticky work yesterday but we felt good at the end of the day. Had a great day today just walking around and enjoying the sunshine in the park. So no NSD to report as yet. I have feeling July could be tough with a wedding so I am going to go for 10 NSDs and 4 in a row.

Thanks to Spoon for running this months thread. We all really appreciate the time and effort you put in.

    xx
