Well done on the bike ride Jaffacakegal :T

Tixy - hope kitty is ok?
Stapler - well an extreme way of making you get into the habit of sarnies with the shop being closed - hope it's doing the trick ...or have they been forced to close now you're no longer visiting? :rotfl:

Bit of a bummer about the race Cheryl, but sounds like you did the right thing. Oh, and if it helps, me and OH have pretty much opposite tastes in food, plus he's veggie and I'm not - but we cope :D

Kath - sorry to hear you're feeling down at the mo :grouphug: sending positive vibes for the job interview

LMH - well done on your results :T and great to hear Mr LMH is having a good first day in his new job.

Well confession time from me...no NSD here, was planning one but popped into the paaaaand shop at lunch and picked up some grass seed, lawn fertiliser, plant fertiliser (to try and revive the plants OH 'trimmed' ) oh, and a pack of kit kats 'fell' into my basket too :o (OH had been complaining no choc in the house and I missed the 1p Roses from Mr T) total spend £4. Going to put the £2 for the €-millions aside tonight for the work syndicate so tomorrow WILL be a NSD.

On the other hand, I am having another whoopise fishcake for dinner so don't chuck the kippers at me just yet Spoony

    Hello All

No. 2 for me today but TBH I'm too frightened to spend money.

Career Development Loan direct debit postponement form was asked for last week, this time last week. Have rang them up today and they are going to send another oh 'and don't worry because if we take the money out we can always reimburse it'.

He didn't say what they would do about any bank charges or the general meltdown of my bank account! If I'm not going up to Newcastle tomorrow to see my lecturer I may even try for another NSD!

Sunday I did the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride - 60 miles  Still can't believe I finished it :D

Didn't spend any money whilst I was out on it - took food to eat over the 8 AND A HALF HOURS it took me!! But I decided to treat myself to a takeaway after - thus ruining my chance of an NSD!! Oh well sometimes needs must!

    JCG x

Um, yes, I think you can certainly justify a takeaway after 8 1/2 hours cycling!! Well done, it is an amazing achievement! Firmly puts my 2 miles a day into its (rather shoddy) place! :rotfl:

In other news, I have a genuine NSD to declare - taking me up to 4/7.

Sadly tomorrow will be spendy, as its yoga day (well fingers crossed... last week the class got cancelled as too many people were off on hols) and then wednesday I'm off up to the big smoke to stay with my cuz, before nipping off to city airport early thursday morning! Yay holibobs!! :D :rotfl: :D

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hello everyone!

Another flying visit from me - just popping in to report that today was a big spend day - I combined a big food shop with a few other necessary spends, which resulted in a spend of over £100 , but at least I now have no need to spend for the rest of the week fingers_crossed.gif

I did, however, catch a NSD yesterday, so my running total is now up to 9 NSDs! Yippee! :j

Must dash - have a good week everyone and good luck catching more NSDs everyone! chicken1.gif
