3 and 4 for me here! And a total NSD weekend
spent Saturday cleaning the house then spent the evening at my mums surprise 60th birthday party. As we provided the alcohol my sisters and I took any leftover booze home. I got a 1l bottle of vodka and 3 half bottles of White wine
Then today spent the whole day at my mums and she gave me 14 cans of fosters!!
This will all come in handy when we have friends round next! Love free booze!!0 -
Evenin' everybody!
I would like to declare NSD numero 4/7 for today! The last few days (apart from thursday's bill) haven't been massive, £6.20 in the pub on Friday (my Ma asked me to go) and £10.01 on petrol yesterday.
Oh... I've just realised I can't claim today as an NSD actually, I paid off the debt to Mr Lotti for the ipod I bought from him.Good to clear the debt to him, but I was so excited about not spending!
And I gave up going to the pub as it would ruin my NSD!! Pah.

Sunday = Spend day. For the first time ever despite owning two cards. I brought a £1 stamp to start a Tesco @£50 savings regime where, if I do it for 7x year I can blow/spend £50 at Tesco which is considerably smaller than £80 as it has been off late.
The News of the World obviously, beginning Card Scheme and £20 of shopping this time only bits and pieces I needed: de cecco pasta for soup (homemade chicken stock made in slow cooker divine), more mince for Meat Loaf recipe on Epicurious (prunes or no?) to cut up and freeze once made as with the £4 Tesco Ham (sliced and frozen),Orzo Pasta like rice for soup. Tesco did NOT stock De Cecco angel air so I couldn't replicate the less divine but still nice Chicken Noodle soup that you get in packets (decent brand or rather tasty product swearword brand taste is everything).
I forgot what else I brought. But it was only a few items. I couldn't resist the Tesco Finest Cafe Latte deserts x2 utterly yummy and 3x this week @68p hmmm. When I shop I have a bit of a pud thing but at least it's not Mr Kipling.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

@Jinty The Quilt Bargain was too good to miss. If NSD is one half of eqaution then IMHO Good hearty spending is the other!!!
Surely spending well is just as important in vitally important knowing how to preserve our money against the relentless constant, demeaning assault by various greedy undeserving non Friendly and non Friend Corporate Bodies (including Government bar need to have a Welfare State instead of pro market Destigmatization).
Glad your dentures are back to normal. One wants to function properly. Say hello to Edinburgh for me. Fair City, must visit one day but my heart is lost in the Highlands and Islands which surrounds scotland like a halo.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
