    Hi there everyone,

Well I have returned after slinking off with my tail between my legs as I didn't *quite* make my target again last month! Will catch up on the thread asap! :)

Rightyho, well I think I shall go for a starting target of 7 NSDs this month... I have holibobs coming up but have mapped out 10 ought-to-be NSDs, and there may be a few lucky ones too. Just got to be disciplined! Can I also put me name down for 2 in a row? Or does it have to be 3+ to count?

Oh, and I nearly forgot! Got 2/7 already, not my 2 in a row though! :rotfl:

Afraid I haven't had a NSD today :( Was doing so well too, but I have given in to a fancy..lol. My friend was talking about getting a chinese takeaway earlier and it made me hungry. So rang DH up and checked if he fancied a takeaway - so the upshot of this is we are getting a yummy chinese takeaway when DH gets home. :)

Mini-food shop today, so not a NSD. However, I came in at nearly £5 under budget so have transferred that sum to the household bills account so I am not tempted to spend it. I need to get that account balance up to a healthy level as the dreaded car tax is due end of August! Should get some more NSDs later this week, though.

Amongst the shopping today was a cheeky little Cotes du Rhone (Morrisons) at less than £4 a bottle, to start building up the stocks that OH obliterated the other day! Though I can't really moan at him - it was the first time my daughter had been in our house for 3 years, and the first time he has met her husband, so bridges were built, fences mended, ice broken etc etc and a good time was had by all. A big weight off my mind, anyway, as I have been sick to death of treading on eggshells, feeling like piggy in the middle. Maybe we can get on with being like a normal family? (Although, what is normal? You hear such horror stories sometimes about family shenanigans)

Might claim tomorrow as a NSD as the hairdresser is coming but I have the cash for her set aside in an envelope already. Must remember to keep up with the envelope system, it really does work!

Nargle, having recently finished "All Families are Psychotic" (Douglas Coupland), I can safely declare there is no such thing as normal. :rotfl: Where'd be the fun in that anyway? :D Glad you are no longer having to walk on eggshells. Here's to regularly having to build up that stash (though perhaps with less vomitting! ;)).

NSD 3 for me today please. :D

Jinty - Hope your mouth is on the mend x

Nargle - Good to hear things are clamer on the family front - are you sure Igor didn't slip your OH a small cocktail when you weren't looking? We've all seen them floor Hubert :D

Gorgeous and sunny here up until 3.30pm when the heavens opened and all I could do was sit in a meeting thinking 'my washing is outside' came home and had to put some of it through on a rinse as it had dust and grit from the rain on it - it's now drying for the second time

Not a NSD for me today I'm afraid, £2 for our Euromillions syndicate at work (wish someone would just win the money...preferably me! but getting a bit fed up with it now).

Then had to get some salad in Mr T (had a paltry slice of cheese to go in my wrap so really did need some), got some lettuce and salad onions on BOGOF (thinking of using the onions to make fish cakes), also got OH some quorn burgers reduced to 80p for his dinner, and a Dove deo (but covered with a voucher) and some nanas - all came to under £3 :T

Also picked up two more handwashes in SD at 49p each, some moistureiser in S*vers @ £2.99 (the one I use which can be £5 ) and lightbulbs plus some Serf (just gone on offer for £3) in Mr W.

Most things were on my list and I seem to be pretty well stocked up atm - prob get some fruit from the market on Thurs so hopefully a NSD tomorrow...sorry...rambling....will go now *slinks off stage left*
