Thanks guys for your kind words. I really hate getting things wrong and doing badly at things, so I'm probably letting it all get to me a bit more than I should.
I have some little aims for this week to help me focus a bit more and one of them is to post on here every day (will probably be evening I should think), even if it's just to catch up with threads. I love these forums, make me feel so connected, so I don't want to let them lapse!!!
 Have a lovely Sunday all

Welcome psychaley (not sure how to say that one, it doesn't quite compute in my head) and toddybad let us know how you get on over the week.
Welcome back laisbojar - PMT positive mental thinking, that wasn't the first thing that came to my mind :rotfl:
LC I hope work get better for you this week and you are not as stressed, it is horrible when work has such an effect on how you are feeling.
Right it is Sunday, I need to focus the mind as I went out last night, got in at 4am and am £50 lighter in the wallet:eek: So much for having a good first week of the month, this has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works but it is my own fault I need to be sensible. Not a diaster but really need to keep spends to a minimum this week.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everyone.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

            Hi there!
Thanks for starting the thread again pointypenguin. Last week (my first week!) was an absolute disaster, but I did have a few extra expenses, one of which I completely forgot to add into my pledge! I think I ended up spending about £75 (give or take).
This week I don't have anything really planned, or birthdays or haircuts to spend out for! But I might go for a couple of drinks with friends on Thursday. Car should have enough petrol for the week, so I will pledge £30 this week on incidental spends, and hope I don't have another red week!!

            Confusing money today:
Spent £1.00 on 2 plants from the farm for my friends, £6.50 on cigs and £3.15 on Starbucks when I went out to see my friends earlier (haven't seen them all week, so was nice)
Made £3.00 on refund at Starbucks for crappy panini I had on Friday, and £1.00 from my friend for a few cigs and found 5p in the bottom of my bag
So... *thinks* ... that's £10.65 out and £4.05 in so a total spend of £6.60.
 Cool
 £6.60/£30
Have a nice Monday everyone, personally I'm dreading already! :rotfl:

            Hi all!
Right didn't do so well last week so gonna start afresh today. I budge £30 between now & Sunday 10th July. Hopefully I will be able to stick to that!0

my first spend of the week but only £2.73, which was £0.33 on a bottle of water (sooo needed today!) and £2.40 on parking which i will get back from work at the end of the month! i have included the parking as incidental spending as i never budget for parking as i can never be 100% sure that i will need to incur it and if i do i get it back anyway! does anyone else do this? but only £2.73, which was £0.33 on a bottle of water (sooo needed today!) and £2.40 on parking which i will get back from work at the end of the month! i have included the parking as incidental spending as i never budget for parking as i can never be 100% sure that i will need to incur it and if i do i get it back anyway! does anyone else do this?
