They do have a bread supplier - Iceland. It would only be wrong if they were claiming they baked it themselves. I used to run a pub, and it was very often cheaper to get stuff from Tesco's rather than a wholesaler.Don't Panic - and carry a towel

Yes they can.
Iceland is their supplier.
If you don't like their price go to iceland and buy it their. Not sure why they could be doing anything wrong
Their margins are a little low though! About 35% if my mental calcs are right.0 -
Wow! a whole 40p profit a loaf. That won't get them to the Bahamas for the winter will it.0

Yes I see no problem with this. It takes there time to go to Iceland, fuel, not withstanding costs associated with a shop and any looses when bread dont sell, or shoplifting. Of course Iceland can refuse to sell them it if they suspect something untoward and or depriving other customers
I would imagine many businesses do shopping in local supermarket filling up trollies with one or two items0 -
Most corner shops and food outlets like sandwich shops and takeaways buy from supermarkets, anything on offer tends to be bought out in bulk whenever they can get away with it, a couple of the sandwich shop owners around here are often seen digging around in the reduced section for sliced meats etc close to or on the useby date.0

I'd rather the shop bought the bread from Iceland than some dodgy place." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

And Iceland probably go to their supplier and buy the 2 loaves for £1.00 and it might only cost the baker 20p to make each loaf.0 -
Its a common occuarance, when I used to work on the tills in a supermarket, you could always tell people who had business' because their trolley would be stocked mostly with one or two items, like ketchup, bread, sugar, tea light holders etc.0

If you dont like it OP, Go to iceland and buy them your self.
What annoys me about shops is selling items out of a multi pack.0 -
I find that lidls is the worst for it but it seems to be people in the takeaway or restaurant business with trolleys piled high with pitta bread and cheap tins of stuffIf you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
