EBID is screwing me up!

Dear All, Recently I joined Ebid after all the fuss about Ebay's price rise.
So I thought I give Ebid a try so I joined as a Seller+.
My account got validated straight away and I start using the account.
3 days later I found my account locked. I could not get access to the account.
So I contacted the Ebid support team and I got a reply back stating that
I need to give them my home telephone number so they can talk to me.
So I did that but did not get a call. Then got another email saying
my address does not match with the country I registered from.
That puzzled me a bit. I registered from UK and I am positive during the
registration my origin of the country was UK.
To cut the chase short, they asked me to provide documentation or
as alternative register on repatoo.com and provide the user name.
I have 100% positive feedback from ebay and never had any problem
of such! So thats what I did, followed their every instructions and my account was unlocked.
Then found my self locked out of the forum as well. So then again I sent few
emails and no replies. Its been 3 days and not heard from the support team.
I felt very badly treated. I have Never sold anything on their site,
same stuff I am selling well on Ebay.
I dont know if anyone can help me with this. Any Ebid admins here?

The message does say that the problem has something to do with the email address you registered which may explain why you haven't had an email reply from support. Why don't you do as they suggest and log on to the main eBid site to fix the problem?0

Hi. I've checked the email address on the main site over and over
again. I did get reply from the support team before on that email add.
It is the same email address used before to corresponding with them.
When I raise a new ticket I get a auto reply to my email address.
So I dont understand why I cant get a reply to that address from
the support team?
I dont think it is to do with the email address. There must be foul
play from Ebid support team.0 -

I would be surprised if they had it in just for you. How have you been using the site? You say you haven't sold anything - how much have you listed or bought there?"Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
Am now Crowqueen, MRes (Law) - on to the PhD!0 -

Hi Crowqueen. I only joined the site just about 2 weeks now. So I am still getting used to the site.
I have few listing live there at the moment but not sold anything.
I am using the site as well behaved as I possibly can be like a gentleman should be.
But my problem still persist. I reckon the admins have messed up my settings.0 -
Are your items still listed OK?"Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

There are very few people that use ebid here on MSE and although I list on there it is usually better if I don't get involved in ebid threads.
However, I believe some ebid members have this thread bookmarked:

And you might want to post a link to this thread on there to see if there is anyone using ebid that might be able to help. Apparently they are a lot friendlier and more helpful than ebay so I'm sure one of them will be able to offer some suggestionsI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. From what the OP has been posting it sounds like their emails are being automatically bounced back by the email provider which is why any replies from support are not getting through. The only things to do in that situation are to add the support email address to the email account's white list and/or email support using a different email account.0 -
Captain_Serenity wrote: »The OP mentioned in their first post that they are also locked out of the ebid forums so, even if wasn't a problem that only admin can deal with, that wouldn't be an option.

It's another MSE thread that soolin is suggesting the OP posts on, to hopefully get responses from the ebid users, who occasionally pop in to it.0
