Thanks for all the battery/laptop suggestions. I did post on the Techie Board but the answers were way beyond my comprehension and then people started argueing :rotfl:. DG I'll PM you later/tomorrow, thanks!

I've had a lovely lazy afternoon :D spot of sunbathing on the balcony, followed by a couple hours on the beach reading a book :D. Feeling sleepy now though!

Cinema is off tonight as my friend forgot she had dinner plans with her family! So we are going tomorrow night instead. So I'll have a quiet night in, I'm so not rock n roll :rotfl:! Going to make veggie spag bol for tea.

Afternoon all, and hugs to anyone who wants or needs them. x

After a relatively lazy morning I seem to have had a busy old afternoon. Husband and I set to and go one of the borders weeded, and then I told him where to dig for new plants to go in. He then went and started weeding the vegetable beds in the allotment end of the garden.

While he did that I tidied the kitchen up and have made 2 x 1lb loaves, 6 bread rolls, I have 1 more 1lb loaf rising, two submarine shape rolls rising, and three mini rolls shaped like sheep rising. Why sheep? It is our town's Sheep Day tomorrow so I thought I would sneak them into the packed lunch I'm making for us to take up.

Husband is now making burgers ready for tea this evening, while I catch up on what the world is doing. It has been a good day so far.
Not heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.
    Baby due July 2018.

Loulou as BB said be kind to yourself and Bu$$er the housework.Take time to do what you want when you feel like it dear It's been a big thing in your life so a bit of cossetting won't go amiss.I am sending <<hugs>> to all who are feeling down and blue today Its strange how so much sadness seems to pop up all at once .I will have to have a severe talking to the Big Guy tonight as I can't have my 'virtual ' friends being down;).its a worrying time for a few of us on here and we really need something to lift our spirits up a bit.I shall have to put my thinking cap on as my old Mum used to say.She could put a 'spin' on almost anything bless her .She was the eternal optimist.
JackieG I do hope when you BIL gets to see the oncologist they will be a bit more helpful. My lady oncologist was an absolute smasher. She would take the time to tell you anything you wanted to know .It does help no end if you make a wee list of questions out as often when you get there everything else goes out of your head.
silvermaid Just what we need some positive thought .When I was poorly my nephew's congregation in Tottington nr Bury all prayed for me and I found it great that a church full of total strangers were thinking of me 300 miles away. When I went to visit him in 2009 they all kept coming up to me after church and asking how I was and were so pleased that I had come all that way to see them all.My nephew Hughie is one in a million, and I think if only there were more like him the world would be so much nicer. Its standing room only in his church on a Sunday morning .That's how much the locals think of him He always has time for everyone in the village which is great.
sistercas keep your pecker up sweetie we're all behind you with positive thoughts and love
redruby I too would step back and let your Mum have a think for a bit.Your dads problems are getting to her and I know its not your fault but worry can make you a bit mardy at times to even those closest to you.

Well the three little boys had a whale of a time this afternoon at the school Fete. I had two little additions tagging on, a little boy and his smaller sister Their Mum is in a wheelchair with MS so parts of the school grounds she couldn't get to, so I said don't worry I'll keep an eye on them.So there I was like the pied piper with all this troop of small children following me :):)Still they were all very good and behaved impeccably .The little lad is Mikey's best pal at school and even though Mikey has three older brothers to him this little lad and he are joined at the hip at times.
I also bumped into to our local MP who was there. He is a nice young chap, and he always says Hello and shakes my hand .The boys were most impressed after he had gone.:D
Well I'm off to sort something out for dinner,I'm not very hungry so it may be an cheese ommelette and some fruit. Then I am going to put my feet up and watch last night double episode of The Kennedys and do a spot of knitting.
Have a good evening everyone and try not to worry it won't change anything
    Cheers JackieO

    Afternoon everyone,

My youngest daughter (aged 11) and I have just moved a chopped up apple tree from a friends house to our woodpile.
It was really hard work in this heat but we will appreciate it in the winter when we have the wood for a fire.

Hugs to everyone that needs them.

Lou you need to be kind to yourself and take things easy, don't try to do too much.

    Have a lovely evening everyone.:)

    evening!

been a busy day - been shopping, collected DS, washing, ironing, painting, made 2 veggie lasagnes and 2 small macaroni cheeses.
Still lots to do - pigeon training and dog walking!

Watching a dvd later and collapsing on the sofa with some strawberries, meringue and fresh cream:)

    take care all x x x
