Giffgaff looking pretty good atm, monthly top-up required but you get free minutes, text and internet data (after that the allowances are cheaper than ASDA). I'm on ASDA PAYG but looking to switch as soon as the money's drained.
But you dont have top up every month if you dont want to.
Neither do you get free minutes etc etc you have to purchase a goody bag.0 -
These mobile companies work as a cartel IMO. They are as bad if not worse than oil companies.0

The article doesn't seem to mention is that Vodafone has a lot more offers now than they did before. So yes you might be paying more for a call but if you go on one of the offers you actually save a lot of money.March Wins

Not much help to low/infrequent users.;)
And of course the so called new freebie deals cost you money to get them.0 -
Got a message from Virgin Mobile last week:
"Some of our out of tariff charges are changing from July 31st". It then gave a web address - no more info in the txt, and no way to contact them except the web. I checked it out, and the price is going up to 40p per minute for domestic calls! And of course, being PAYG, all calls are 'out of tariff'. Everyone on Virgin PAYG beware if you get this message. Pretty sharp practice by Virgin imo.0
