    Evening everyone,
PAD for me today is £12.50 to Gas/Electric arrears.
A week until payday, will update sig then as well, hope we have managed to pay at least a couple of hundred off the debts! First time in ages that I will have properly counted how much we are paying off the debts each month - really want to try and start stepping up a gear with debt repayments. Not going to be easy with baby on the way but having a good try!

Popping in to (takes deep breath) PAD - £8827.95 to ltsb cc plz Winnie - tkyou!! There will be a bit of interest to pay but then that card is cleared!! I did use my mortgage flex a/c chequebook though - so really just shifted the debt, but at lloyds 27.90% interest I couldn't stand it anymore :eek::eek:

Getting a settlement figure from the citiloan tomorrow - should be abt £1000 & then it's finished - 5 years/60 months :T And another £300 p/m free to throw at the debt...

It's a big thanks to all on this thread though - without it I wouldn't feel that nagging feeling that I have to PAD everyday:rotfl:

Hi everyone, been awol a few days while OH away and had laptop and his PC waaaay too slow. So Ive just caught up on the last few days' posts, and boy there have been some good ones.

Dorastar - hope you've got the idea from reading the thread. Personally as I internet bank and am trying to pay off the ccs, I find it quite easy to chuck the money at them every time I make a payment rather than save it in a pot but I know that works for a lot of folks too. How much difference it makes doing it that way rather than saving it up into one big monthly sum I'm not sure financially but it certainly makes a difference psychologically as you feel like you're actually doing something about it. Also when, as today I have received a payment from one of my cashback or survey sites, if I PAD it straight to the debt it doesn't then just disappear into the household budget or even worse a little treat for me- the bigger treat will be being clear of the cc.

Anyway, enough rambling - I have PADded a grand total of £6.34 today. Thanks for the counting Winnie.:)
