  • £1 to the cc today please :) Found return direct flights to HK in May for just £560 with Cathay Pacific... so might have to book that sooner than I thought! Am waiting for an ex-work colleague who now works for Virgin to get back to me, as i might be able to get staff travel on that... I'm tempted to just book it now though as the flight times are perfect and then it's done. It'll set my debt-busting back a bit but it won't be going on the CC or adding to it so I guess that is a good thing? :)

PAD £150.00 to CC to pay of an unexpected purchace of a Wii as my sister got burgled last week taking all kids xmas prezzies and their wii only things she had left were tit bits and stocking filler things anything decent went. She had 6 presents at mums that had just came and were all wii games  So I have already brought her boys their xmas prezzies but I said I will buy them a wii as well as she really cant afford it she has already borrowed £500 of me to fund the presents that got stolen :( So at least they have something decent for xmas. Its put my debt clearing off a bit as that should have been for paying off but never mind needs must.

  • Sorry to hear that Sophia - it's amazing how low some people can stoop!

As mentioned before, I'm a member of Sandwell Lions. We were doing our last sleigh run last night and two blokes stopped us ready for a fight that the sleigh had scratched paintwork on about 10 cars - the only thing was we hadn't actually gone down that road!

However, we had a successful collection - £500.68, giving us an overall total of £1300 over three saturday nights.

If you got in touch with your local club they may be able to help, but maybe not in time for christmas!

Some people really do stoop so low  when we were burlged while I was pregnant they stole a lot of stuff that we had bought for the baby along with about £6k worth of other stuff. Insurance never did pay out - I dont know why I bother paying it!!

Anyway sorry I havent been around again for a while, dont seem to find time to come online very often while looking after Noah - hes a little sweetie though so I dont mind :D
Have still been PAD-ing though even though I have posted, am now below £7000 :j havent gone too mad for Christmas so for once our debt is still going down in December instead of going up!

    Hope everyone is well.

aw thats a nice thought but I have done it now. I used to love when santa used to come down my road as a child but he doesn't come down my new road :( and I don't really know how to find out where they are and when? Excellent amount raised rsdiscos.

Flower - she wasn't insured as renewal due two months ago and couldn't afford it as xmas around the corner. But if your experience is anything to go by they probably wouldn't pay out.

On the up front I wouldn't have been able to do this for them if it wasn't for padding :j even when we are debt free end of feb (fingers crossed) I will carry on padding as I need new fridge freezer, tumble dryer and bigger house and OH mum needs new kitchen roof caved in the other day and took most of cupboards as well and cant afford to do this as barley getting by. (roof now fixed thanks to my hubby and her ex hubby)
Glad your getting better erme you do as you feel fit you know whats best for yourself.
