Right now my cat is manically chasing a toy mouse under some washing and amongst the wrapping paper, it is hilarious. The best things in life are definitely free

It's such a liberating feeling, chipping away little by little at my debts - thanks to you guys for your support - i know I wouldn't be doing it if I wasnt sharing my journey on here!
Anyway - enough mushy stuff! :rotfl:
Todays PAD is £3.33 - £1.67 to the mortgage and £1.66 for the loan.
Thanks guys and have a good day!

I will be posting a super duper PAD on New Year's Eve once I've added it all up.
My debt hasn't gone down much at all this year though. Instead I've been tooling up to increase my workload - and even bought a bit of work - on credit.
60 foot carbon poles don't come cheap especially when they've been made with both lightness AND strength in mind. This year has been the year when I've stepped back a bit to try to see a slightly bigger picture rather than worrying about paying an extra pound or two here and there. I realised that I had been getting bogged down in detail when I would have been better off pushing up my income by borrowing money to buy better tools. I'm only in the first quarter of my accounting year but seeing a turnover and profit increase of over 20% on last year.
It's a tricky choice at the moment. I want to pay down my debts faster. However, I will probably need to buy another van in 2 - 3 years - and I think it will be very hard to borrow the money for it. It might be better to try to pay a little to my debts and to try saving for the next van - because without a van, I earn nothing.
Van seems imperative...save for it man - save...

That's the amount I've paid out on debts since 4th July.
So stick that on the total please.
Over £1k a month just on debt. No wonder life is a struggle at time.
Mortgage is extra of course.
On Jan 1st I will do another SOA as my old one is horribly outdated now. First though, I want a reasonable Xmas with loads of football matches.
Okay... I've seen those poles and they are pretty impressive. Are you just working on your own or do you have a few people with you? Are you part of a franchise or what exactly. I remember seeing the window cleaner outside Mr S in the freezing cold on a wednesday am at 6am in November (this was during the caffeine overdose LOL) and he was well miffed he didn't get a free mug at 7am :AWow - this board is Inspirational!!! Making my PAD is the first thing I do each morning - I'm definitely becoming addicted!!!!
Today's PAD is £5.69 - £2.85 to the mortgage and £2.84 to the loan.
It's the first time in ages that I'm beginning to feel that I've got a handle on Money - and have begun to carefully count every Penny so i know whether I can PAD it or not! Don't want to set myself a numerical target, but I'm beginning to think that being debt free (but not mortgage free) by the time I'm 40 is a possibility - but who knows - I'll just keep chipping away and see what happens!
Happy Days!!!

I'm in love with the snowball personally :T...less than a year (would have been sooner if I'd found the snowball sooner ) and this laptop (all £800 of it - cos it's a mac) will be paid off then I chip away at the overdraft (all about £700 of it) till about april according to the snowball. But it depends how much I allow for 'fun' in March as like I tend to allow £60 for these things but I might allow £100 (all in budget for the week) and be done with it and that should still allow about £50 to throw at the OD
Sorry I've been mia for a few days btw folks
Was mega busy on Wednesday (day started at 10am  I didn't finish till 6.30pm) and then like for whatever reason went down with a huge paranoia for a day or so
But back now
