And how much pray tell was this IPAD? Cos right now (correct me if I'm wrong) you have less to pay on the IPad than I do on the macbook. I have about £400 (after pad tomorrow and DD loan payment) to pay on macbook

I daren't put it on my signature. I'm that embarassed. Plus I don't earn a lot (enough but not a lot) and like about just under half my monthly income goes on debt....

    So that's life....

Ask away Erme, no problem :) All in complete with protective cover and 30 days unlimited 3g t'was just shy of £390 ~ I have about £50 left to rattle in prior to CC payment date on 26th so should manage it out of this months padding before getting paid on 25th :o

I don't earn much either, and well over half my earnings goes on debts...so I can truly sympathise with you! It may take us a bit longer than other folks, but we WILL get there!! _party_

Thanks hun... It's like I don't live to be frugal and when I try I try like really hard but I have this illness which can make me a little reckless from time to time with money and when I'm sick I can't cross roads never mind work a spreadsheet  It's no where near as bad as it was but I don't like being judged by ppl cos like I should be living on a lot less in their eyes than what I do :(

I pay for all my NRT myself as you can't get the stuff I like and prefer and that works for me on prescription so that's about £25 a week (which even so is cheaper than cigs used to cost me at about £45 a week) and i have the cheapest internet (bar T*** T****) I can get for my needs. I also have no tv but I do have an expensive mobile (I got on a bad day) though mobile broadband wise I've found my 'never runs out' payg dongle I got the other year so just cancelled my £5 a month rolling contract for that.

I do like coffees out but I try and stick that to once a week and then it's a coffee or a cake as I can't afford both. (needing decaf these days) and I get syrup for free as I have the S card. I am trying to be as frugal as I can be right now..

I think some DMP's have a food budget of at least £35 a week plus £10 whoopsies...well mine right now is £5 less than that!!! And that's to cover everything bar bills....

This is all so I can get my debts cleared asap (if everything goes to plan by June next year :j) according to the snowball. Even weekends away are supposed to cost no more than £30 after rail fare (which I get in advance to get a cheap deal and I get 1/3 off with my railcard :D)....and I need my weekends away from time to time...I just stay with friends or Youth hostel. Cheap and cheerful. Even though I'm in my mid thirties. Or stay with family :). Like one of my tickets for my next trip 300 miles away only cost £14.10 booking in advance (alas I wasn't up in time to get the other one so cheap - it was £24 something but still :D)

I'm curious as to what your new way is - hope it works out for you. There's something about this thread that gets you excited when you've made progress/come up with a new debt busting plan - whoever thought this would be almost enjoyable!
