If your cars mot has run out, is your insurance void?

I cant find any exclusions due to lack of MOT. Exclusions that do void the insurance include driving on the Nurburgring, or the car being affected by radiation!

My MR2 insurance tells me that i can't go to the Ring and i can't do competitive off roading in it either!!

Yes. It's a no. No MOT does not invalidate your insurance. Or void it.

Doesn't that sort of defeat the point of having an MR2 if you can't do competitive off roading?
