Blummin cold tonight.
Will be trotting off for the Whoopsie walk shortly so hopefully it will feel a little warmer when I get back.
Trapped a nerve in my neck/shoulder which is not good on a jumble sale day.........I struggled to rummage but came away with some bits and bobs
Went for a drive to a nearby village to look at their scarecrow festival which had some fantastic entries :T Stuck all three boys in the car and realised we hardly do anything apart from essentials any more. We have not had a family day out this year never mind a holiday. Looking at the brochure for centre parcs which does not seem too expensive for a five day break but looking a little closer at the activities, the only thing included in the price is the swimming and everything else is a separate charge and really expensive. Will have to give that a miss I think.
Going to Mr Ts then off to bed to snuggle under the quilt, hopefully Dr Who will be on the Iplayer by then

Second visit to Westfield! Met another friend at 11, and we went to Greggs, where they did a sandwich and any coffee for £1.99! So that was "brunch" sorted.:)
We spent a couple of hours there, and then made our way to Liverpool Street, and a bus to Aldwych. As we alighted, there were some very glamourous girlies giving free samples of ........
Haagen Daaz Ice Cream!!!! :j:j:j:j We sat in the bus shelter (!) enjoying these, then went into the Savoy for our regular toilet visit, and sat in the plush armchairs, by the restaurant.
A waitress, dressed very smartly, wearing a skirt and a morning coat, came over and asked if we'd like coffee. I explained that we would love some coffee, but, alas, we were impoverished pensioners and Savoy prices would leave us starving for the rest of the month.
She smiled, winked, and 5 minutes later we had a plate of warm, shortbread biscuits and a pot of coffee!! :T:T It's amazing what you can get away with, if you've got a bit of cheek!
No bargains today in Mr T, apart from 1.5L of Comfort, reduced to £2, and only £1.25 with a coupon, and 4 teacakes for 25p!!!!

Oh Sandra - I'm slightly shocked but delighted, how lovely and nice to know that there are still "some good 'uns" out there!:D:D
Now, help needed - my foot's really itchy under it's bandage and it's driving me insane!:( I can't get at it (which is probably just as well) to put any cream etc on but any ideas for anything that might help the itch calm down?
The bandage can't come off until the stitches come out (week today)
If I wiggle my toes (the ones that move anyway:o) I can sort of relieve it a bit but ..... not a lot. TIAGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

It's a photo of his 130 free packets of Shreddies (£1 in Mr T, usually £2.39, but free using a £1 voucher).
He also boasts, further on, about getting 12 of each flavour of sauces at Mr T, using coupons again, and there are 6 flavours!!!!

Oh my goodness, they must love that shopper at Mr T's, not!!! My dad bought all the frozen turkeys in their one year for his office staff and that wound them up enough and he was paying full price for them!!!
I did a massive shop at Mr M's yesterday and I was over that way! (we have Mr T, M and A but all a 15 / 30 min drive away) Spent £76 but had a full trolley, got lots of value items, like biscuits, pasta, tins etc and lots of offers so pleased with that. No bargain whoopsies, although I didn't expect there to be on a Sat afternoon at 4pm. Often do Mr A delivery but felt like actually going shopping yesterday!
Not sure what to do today, it's pouring with rain down here in Devon, got some bits to put on ebay, free listings this weekendMum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

Sandra - that's fab
I used to work as a waitress, and would have probably done the same!
I bet the biscuits were yummy...
Just having a lazy day today; OH has gone walking so I'm sat watching the great north run on the tv. We're off round to OH's mum and dad's for tea later, so just relaxing on the sofa in the meantime. I love SundaysBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
