Just done a big shop at Mr T's so feeling a bit more happy about the food situation - we were running out!

seriouslyfrugal - it's also been nice here today, cloudy but no rain which is a nice bonuscan't believe what the weather has been like in August though, it's pants!

Has anyone made spag bol in the slow cooker, do I brown my mince then chuck everything in the sc and leave for hours? How long would u leave it? I want to use it more for when I'm at uni, so need to practice now...Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

Lola - I've not made it in the SC but I would presume you brown the mince and then chuck everything in and leave on low for however many hours

That's pretty much what I do with chilli in the slow cooker, and bolognaise is chilli with less spice really0 -
Lola, I've done it with chunks of meat and also with quorn mince which is cheap! I don't bother browning it, I just bung it all in and leave it on low. I can put it on low in the morning and it is done at tea time.0
