Is that KGB as in the Russian secret police? It must be a terribly strict holiday camp. ;)

Edited to add: Crikey, Tumpty, I've just seen the reviews....can you cancel without too great a loss?
:-) they force you to make savings :-)

It will be ok, it's only 3/4 hour drive away taking it slowly, there is a beach and a chip shop, we will take our own bedding so it can't be that bad.

Been dying to share this with u all, and remembered that I had a bucket account that could upload from the mobile, so here she is; Miss Turtle. She is only 1 day old, and hasn't opened her eyes yet.
(She is a present for my cousins 6 week olds christening.)
I am very proud of her. IMAG0832.jpg

    Thank you :)
She is crochet from a pattern that I hot in a magazine called 'love crochet' its in wh smith just now, cost me £8. I think its the crochet collection that has bn appearing in knit today.

Here is Mr Dinosaur, that my son asked me to make, along with a Mr Turtle and a monkey that swings!!!
I started Mr Dinosaur while watching The Killing, how good was that? I'm just now debating on giving him spikes down his back or spots

I've not had a very frugal few days, must do better next week!

I hear the next sale is on Saturday 16th July...so next Saturday might not be too frugal either, but that's ok, as long as there is at least 50% off everything :)

Going out for dinner tonight, so I'm off to find a voucher for somewhere nice xx

Just off fone to V media, cheapest they cam do a package with me is £49 plus £50 activation fee for tivo (anyone got that? Is it any good?) For just a v+ box its £47 a month plus the £49 activation fee.
Actually does anyone know anyone who works for v media sales? Lol (+ prices are going up around £1 in august)
All this to get the Disney kids channels, as son is getting a bit big for just cbeebies, and I don't like channels that use breaks as brain washing children to want toys they have no need for.

    Welcome to the newbies.

Tumpty, ur welcome. Theme hampers are the bees knees hehe

23rd, get in touch with ofgen (I think that's what they are called) they don't have a leg to stand on for any time before ur legal 'got the keys' date.

I'm just about to call my energy provider, I'm £57 a month just for electricity, everything apart from the fridge freezer gets switched of. Nothing is left on standby either. I don't watch tv in my room, son does for scooby doo , but not everyday, and defo not all day! I don't have tv on in morning, just usually when we get home around dinner time (4pm onwards).
I'm in credit with hydro for over £200 just now, .... just got to go find my bills so I have details to hand.

Do you know that V media have been bought out by Sky, so prices will be very similar.

    Awww, Lola, she's fantastic!

And the dinosour - yup, think spikes would be good!

Unfortunately my attention span isn't good - very good at starting things like this but not great at finishing them! Loads of part started projects lying around. TBH scarves are about my limit!

Stumbled across an easy to follow pattern for a throw a few days ago - basically knit a square in one colour, another in a 2nd colour until you've got a "strip", then start again with the next strip (can't find pattern just now - on different pc). Hoping this might be "doable" and would be great for chilly autumn evenings!

Only problem ...... I can't find my needles or the huge bag of wool I've got - must be up the loft:eek: I hate going up there!

    Task for later on!

Enjoy the tall ships to anyone who's going - I saw them a couple of years ago and they're fantastic!

    She's lovely! And unique. :T
Let us see the dinosaur again when you've completed him.
Don't know how you managed to crochet when watching The Killing, I couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen!
