Anyone got any pointers on how to apply bronzing pearls?

I know where to put bronzer but have only ever used the pressed type before. I got some free Collection 2000 bronzing pearls the other week just as I'd run out of pressed one, but the bu88ers don't seem very easy to use! They keep getting stuck in the brush that I'm using (have tried 2 different types of brush, same issue). If it doesn't improve I'm gonna have to buy a new bronzer.

What's the opinion on Foundation Primers?? I was considering this one from mabelline as it said it was one of the best value primers available (I'm such a sucker for advertising). I've never even heard of them before though, what are they supposed to accomplish?? How would Iknow if it's good or not??

The only ones I have tried are: Make Up Forever and Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. I loved the Make Up Forever one but I don't think it's available in the UK. I bought it last time I was in the US so it's a bit pointless buying it again I think. The Smashbox one I do like although I think I need to learn not to buy it inflight because I've bought it twice now from that source and have had problems with the product after it's been in use a while in that the pump broke on the first bottle - luckily I had a second bottle so could swap the pumps - and as mentioned before the product went off before I finished the bottle off. Have opened the travel size one I have today and that's fine so maybe the answer is to buy it in a tube instead of pump bottle.

Have painted my nails again. Am now wearing : OPI for Sephora: Non Soy Half Caff http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_hdbKBG_qL5g/TLhkYCT5EKI/AAAAAAAAAmw/klA3zihluE4/s1600/soy+cafe2.jpg.

Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Woo hoo, hope it's a bloke doing the interview:rotfl:
The stash is very depleted now, its almost sad but after another view on a house yesterday and a chat to the estate agent it seems we pay finally get an offer excepted this week but not getting too excited until anything actually happens!

    Good luck with the house.

LOL :rotfl: I'm glad I've got somebody to be sad with together :)

Just updated the pics, the wifi in room is only one particular corner (yes I'm piggybacking :o) because it's too much hassle to transfer to laptop to ul through ethernet. There is also one of me, which I vaguely like, but might get rid of it when I find out what's wrong with it (I never like photos of me)!!

I'm the same though Alanis, I love looking at pictures of abroad. One of the magazines I buy for the reception at work has to be a travel one so I can just gaze at the pictures :) I always buy a postcard to keep for myself when I go somewhere and tend to put them on my wardrobe door when home :)

    Awww... now I'm blushing :o

lovely pics sawan. You are very techie aren't you, puts me to shame.

Woohoo - at last another UU (only the 2nd of the month:mad:)

It was a nivea Visage regenerating night cream. WNBA as too greasy for me. (If truth be told I finished it up last night on my toots:o).

I've moved on to a Simple repair anti-aging night cream now that scored 9/10 in the Daily Mail recently:D

OMG!!!! I've just read this post and I'm turning into my DM:eek::eek::eek: who ends every discussion or argument with " well it's in the Daily Mail so it must be right!!!":eek::eek:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Funny that, I just finished the same night cream today, I got the one for combination skin but it was still way too greasy so I finished it up as a neck and decolletage cream. Strange as i usually love nivea stuff.

I've tried this recently and won't buy again. 2½ weeks later the colour has really faded and as I said before it didn't touch my gray/white roots which now look hideous. Have bought 2 x boxes of Nutrisse from Sainsbury's as it's on buy 2 for £8.00 at the moment.

i have one of these avon dyes in the stash to try and will report back when i have used it, the nutrisse colours are nice and cover grey well.

Also have another uu today, my BS mini moringa scrub has gone, only got two uses out of this but it's only 50ml so fair enough. Have another full size one in the stash. Have moved onto SD Cranberry and pomegranete (I think) smells like Vimto.

That's not weird at all!! I think to myself "Oooh, cant wait to tell the girls about that!!" haha! Maybe we are both just very sad?? But it's ok, we can be sad together =p

Love those photos! The views from up high are amazing - they almost seem unreal :D and the desserts ..... MmmmMmmmMmmm :p

I don't think either of you are weird - I do it too - especially when I'm tempted to buy something I don't need and I think 'Nope - I'll have to confess to the Toiletry Girls' :rotfl::rotfl:

    Avon IN's :o

    Cherry Conditioner
    Cherry Hair Refresher
Gift Box of Planet Spa Face Masks (I ordered 2 but one is for DD for xmas)
I also ordered a Cherry Shampoo but it didn't come :( Not that I really need it :rotfl:

There's a few bits I want from the next book - Planet Spa is on 2 for £6 so will be getting some BB :p but that's to be confessed in August ;)

    Have a great weekend

Thats four of us in the "sad" club then - I look at things and think "shall I?? No - I'll have to tell everyone...." and the first thing that I want to do when I finish something is tell everyone !!!!

Wonderful pics Sawan - they were still building the Burj Khalifa when I was out there - there was a man living in the top of the crane cos it would take too long for him to come down and go back up every day !! Loved the waterfall in the Mall - and just couldnt get over how opulent (is that the word I mean??!!) everything is out there. Hoping to go back in Febuary, though it depends on money. (ive got a friend out there, but still its expensive!!)

    I am having SUCH A SH*T DAY!

    It's not even funny...

I was meant to be doing football physio today for the first pre-season friendly, and assumed I'd make it back in time for my Ann Summers training. Well, turns out I'd have to leave an hour and half early to get to training on time.
    So..
I asked my OH to pick me up from football to take me to training if I gave him petrol money. He wasnt keen (understably, it was about 130 mile round trip) but I couldnt help feeling pee'd off with him, as if I drove I'd have done it for him...
So I told the footie manager I'd have to leave early, and darling he is, said I could just give it a miss this week. It was a relief but I was really annoyed as I was really looking forward to some proper "real life" experience! Plus I'd done a tonne of reading to make sure I knew what I was talking about, and stayed up until 2am making an assessment proforma as they club didnt have anything...
    THEN...
My Ann Summers manager rang... Person whose party it was cancelled it, so, no training either!:mad::mad::mad:
So, thought I'd just console myself with some xbox
And the freaking xbox internet went down!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    So
Consoled myself with half a Greene and Black's 70% cocoa easter egg I was saving to eat little by little when I achieved my target weight....

Now I feel sick, and useless, and bored, as I just dont have a clue still about this Ann Summers business, and pis**d off that I cancelled football to do training, which then got cancelled so I've been stuck at home all day on my own....

What was the point in getting up today... Seriously....

The mabelline one I was talking about comes in a tiny little pot, its white =s Now I'm doubting if it was actually primer I saw =s I'm so confused ='[

our internet has been going weird the past couple of weeks so I haven't been able to catch up but here I am:j

sawan- we stayed in bur dubai next to all those golden sands hotels (will they ever stop building those?!) hope you're having a great time, it looks lovely! I loved that fountain in the dubai mall but the giant plant pots were more amusing because they were taller than my mum:rotfl:did you try the £10 something ice cream in dubai mall and the armarni cafe? more money than sense...it is very expensive especially as we went about 5 years ago and so much has changed!

I had a few UU but can't remember them so will update when I find the empties. The only one I can remember is mini BS moringa scrub : WNBA- This is the last scrub in my stash and I don't think I will repurchase any scrubs. This was too flowery smelling and not particularly scrubby, but worked better on dry skin.

and I have put in another avon order:o
    in bloom perfume
solutions toner (which I have run out of)

    I know, I know naughty step...:o

but I have given away some makeup bits and samples to my friend and gave some other bits to another friend. They both love toiletries so I put together a few things I know they will like:)

now have to get on with ebaying, and finding work experience:(
