Are these HG products for you? I've recently bought the Aloe cleanser to try and am wondering how effective it will be on my oily T zone? Need to finish the Weleda tube first though.

I've never tried any of the aloe range before, but they sounded good so I bought the lot! :rotfl:

LMAO!! I've heard some funny stories about satnav direction, but this has got to be one of the funniest!
    One in to report:

GOSH Foundation Primer Cream. I won it though so no money spent. :D

What's the opinion on Foundation Primers?? I was considering this one from mabelline as it said it was one of the best value primers available (I'm such a sucker for advertising). I've never even heard of them before though, what are they supposed to accomplish?? How would Iknow if it's good or not??

MF Came onto the laptop now as easier to post. Overall from applications you've done, are there any closer that you think you have a chance with? This does sound like an amazing opportunity but the 'cost' could be high in respect to time and your relationship :s What was your initial instinct on being offered the job? I'm sorry if my post is too late :(

I would say I'm not in an adult relationship by any stretch of the imagination, but I can still try and help? What is the job if you dont mind me asking?

I agree with what Sawan is asking, what was your initial gut feeling? What are the chances of landing another job that is just as good? Is there any possibility at all of you guys moving closer as a unit?

Dubai is lovely, prices have really gone up since I last visited, but I guess that's a good thing. I have bought a pair (well, maybe 2 or 3) pairs of shoes in the sales here, and my sister bought me a pair of fitflops as an advance birthday present (no cheaper than at home for those ones ) Went to the 'top' of the Burj Khalifa (well, only the 124th floor) but the view was just wow. I've been taking random pictures to share with you guys (hope you don't find it weird I miss you as much as my RL friends :o) and I'll post them here: http://s1187.photobucket.com/albums/z399/sawan82/Dubai%202011/

Hope everybody is well, hugs to everyone :)

That's not weird at all!! I think to myself "Oooh, cant wait to tell the girls about that!!" haha! Maybe we are both just very sad?? But it's ok, we can be sad together =p

I'm loving the pics! I love travelling (which is expensive) so by looking at your pics I'm essentially I'm getting my travelling fix for free!!

Does anyone else feel really priviledged that Sawan is still posting from Dubai? Haha

    xxx

LOL :rotfl: I'm glad I've got somebody to be sad with together :)

Just updated the pics, the wifi in room is only one particular corner (yes I'm piggybacking :o) because it's too much hassle to transfer to laptop to ul through ethernet. There is also one of me, which I vaguely like, but might get rid of it when I find out what's wrong with it (I never like photos of me)!!

I'm the same though Alanis, I love looking at pictures of abroad. One of the magazines I buy for the reception at work has to be a travel one so I can just gaze at the pictures :) I always buy a postcard to keep for myself when I go somewhere and tend to put them on my wardrobe door when home :)

    Awww... now I'm blushing :o

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Debt-free and Proud!
Well went shopping last night with BF with every intention of taking advantage of Bodyshop offer and buying a scrub from Lush. However didn't fancy anything in BS and The scrub I'd thought was for body was actually for the face and Ive lots of face stuff so didn't bother. Spent a whole £3.50 on flip flops and socks from Primark.:money:UU to report Olay Aqua Physis day cream, like the night cream, I probably wouldnt buy again. I think Im onto my last face moisuriser now (Simple). The stash is very depleted now, its almost sad but after another view on a house yesterday and a chat to the estate agent it seems we pay finally get an offer excepted this week but not getting too excited until anything actually happens!
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

This is the first foundation primer that I've used. I have a massive problem with foundation/powder going on cakey/powdery but using the primer really helped and my makeup went on really lovely.

    One out to report:

ELF liquid eyeshadow - Was going to use this last night but the colour had completely dried up. Had it for about 9 months I think. WNBA as the colour drying up has really put me off.

  • afternoon all :hello:

I haven't been on here for ages, hope you are all well

    I have 3 uu's to declare:
M&S Cosmetox serum (who thinks up these names?) - this is actually quite a nice serum and wasn't overly expensive if memory serves me right. It was a good base for my foundation but I'm not sure I noticed any anti-ageing benefits. WBA but I have so many other pots and potions to get through that it won't be for a verrrrrrrrry long time!

Radox stress relief bubblebath - I like this and it would probably have lasted a lot longer had DD not got a hold of it - what is it with teenagers that they have to use half a bottle of everything at a time?

Finally also finished a Herbal Essences conditioner for oily hair - wnba - I have dry hair, but this had been lurking in the cupboard for many, many years I had to use it as I was just so fed up looking at it.

    Enjoy your weekend girls, xx

    Afternoon all

One UU and 2 OUTs today :)

UU - 1 x Olay Total Effects Stretching Face Cloth - this was a freebie from few years back, pleasantly surprised that it was still useable! Glad no-one came to the door when I had it on :rotfl:. WNBA as didn't really do anythign, but way easier to remove that a wash off face mask!

    OUT's via FB swapsies

1 x Calvin Klein Eternity Moment Shimmer Powder
1 x Clinique Quad Eye Shadow

Swapped for a body butter and frizz ease, both of which I'll use!

I've uu a Cutex nail polish remover. WIBA? Yes and I'm very sad that I've used this up as I now have to move on to Bourjois remover and it is nowhere near as good!

Also applied a John Frieda Precision Foam Colour in Light Natural Brown. This came with great instructions which I followed to the letter and I found it easy enough to apply. The colour hasn't turned out to be as light as I expected it to be (although I like it) but no doubt it will fade after a few washes.

I may hit the shops later and so will have to come back on to confess at some point.
