Well done. Something else that might help. Once when I was having a check up at the dentist she asked me if I bit my nails which i did, she said to stop because i was damaging the tops of my bottom teeth, I've never bitten them since.

To Pudsey who thinks I'm addicted... well right now I'm sitting at breakfast and catching up with the posts through my daily email updates
So I guess so!
I have eyeliner INs, Bourjois duochrome pencils which aren't available here. That's it so far. No UUs yet, but am hoping. And in love with the BS coconut shimmer BB I got in the last 3 free gifts glitch

Good morning all. Just working my way through from my last post!I'm just the same as you Valm. The aroma is really important - at the moment the crabtree and evelyn la source foot scrub smells like toilet cleaner to me and I can barely stand to use it - the la source foot cream is nice though -strange!
Also the texture has to be right. I have tried many body butters over the years and the best texture for me are the L'occitane BB's -costs more but buyings it it the sales generally means it works out the same price as a body shop one.
What is the weleda cleanser like and it is very "almondy" in its aroma? Is it a cream or a lotion?
I too love Eucalyptus especially the Molton Brown Eucalyptus shower gel -heaven! Will see if there are any reviews of the This Works cleanser.
Hi bev, the only Crabtree & Evelyn la source product I've really enjoyed using is the cuticle cream. Love the delivery system on this (that was very QVC that phrase wasn't it>). I'm realising that this is another bug bear for me with products - when the bottle becomes unmanagable. I'm using a travel size of the Simple moisturiser at the moment as a night cream and it is so difficult to get an adequate amount out. Prefer tubs of moisturiser.
I have an OUT to report which is a bottle of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. Not sure I WBA. I know this has been mentioned in reviews before but I can't get the last bits out as the bottle's bottom does not go all the way to the top as Nina is always saying on QVC. Plus I think it's gone off before I finished using it as it was rolling off my skin as I was applying it. Think that I'll avoid buying cosmetics in flight from now on cos I suppose we don't know how long they have had them in stock for. I did get a travel tube of this free with the bottle so will use this next rather than saving for my hols but after that will look for alternative.
The Weleda cleanser is not very almondy. The problem with that is the packaging again. It is a lotion and would be better suited to a pump bottle but instead it's in a metal tube so there is no way of measuring how much you can get out of it or putting back any excess cleanser. For this reason I don't find it good value. It has worked though and my skin is very clear at the moment.Tried the new Avon hair dye yesterday - I liked the dye itself, though it was odd having to apply a pre-treatment (cream) to dry hair before using the actual dye. It smelt much nicer than a lot of dyes I've used, and there was a lot of it - too much for my short hair, so if I used it again, I'd only use half (which is why I've washed out and kept the plastic bottle).
My only negative, is that its not as red as I hoped (deep red mahogany) and looks more brown than I wanted.
I've tried this recently and won't buy again. 2½ weeks later the colour has really faded and as I said before it didn't touch my gray/white roots which now look hideous. Have bought 2 x boxes of Nutrisse from Sainsbury's as it's on buy 2 for £8.00 at the moment.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I just saw this on someones status on FB and had to share :rotfl::rotfl:
1 - Open Google Maps (directions)
2 - Type China as your starting point
3 - Type Taiwan as your destination.
4 - Read step 48. :rotfl::rotfl:
I did this too. Very funny. :rotfl:littlepinkstars44 wrote: »My second BS order arrived this morning, so more IN's to confess...
BS Aloe Protective Serum 30ml
BS Aloe Calming Toner 200ml
BS Aloe Gentle Facial Wash 125ml
BS Aloe Gentle Exfoliator 75ml
BS Aloe Lip Care 15ml
Are these HG products for you? I've recently bought the Aloe cleanser to try and am wondering how effective it will be on my oily T zone? Need to finish the Weleda tube first though.I would like to join please. I am an avon addict, so on a monthly basis i usually spend roughly about £20 on toiletries.
I am not counting the order i have sent off for already however... But i believe its just mascara and other makeup bits.
Does anyone know an alternative to makeup wipes? I find i go through them very quickly...
Welcome Amy. That's reminded me that I have had an IN this week from Avon but it's been more cost effective than originally planned. I ordered 2 x lip stain/gloss duos but didn't receive either. One was sold out and for some reason rather than sending me the other one they sent an alternative which is the lip stick with lip gloss that flows through the middle of it. I'm sending this back as I've learnt in the past from ordering gimmicky things from Avon ie it will be used once, gunge up and stay in a drawer for years until I chuck it out. I'm keeping the mascara I ordered which was a bargain at £3.50 and a HG of mine and a pair of pearl earrings I ordered for Emma which were only £1.00 so instead of my order costing me £15.50 it's down to £4.50. :money: - sadly not my intention.
Have you tried any other kind of cleanser? Personally I find facial wipes very drying on my skin.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Not feeling as excited/happy about it atm as I probably should because it would mean living away from OH during the week. It's only 40-60 mins on the train but it's in the contract to live REALLY near incase of out of hours emergencies. I want to stay in this flat with OH full time but I think it would be really stupid to turn it down... it's actually a good job with lots of training, a good salary & various other perks. It's really just the moving (and a bit of the being on call for emergencies thing) that puts me off.
OH would be upset if i took the job I think. He's not happy for me about getting offered it at all. I don't want him to be upset/annoyed with meI think i'd be lonely during the week too and it'd be my fault for making us both unhappy.
I'd kinda appreciate some 'grown up' advice
MF Came onto the laptop now as easier to post. Overall from applications you've done, are there any closer that you think you have a chance with? This does sound like an amazing opportunity but the 'cost' could be high in respect to time and your relationshipWhat was your initial instinct on being offered the job? I'm sorry if my post is too late
Trudij I hope Red is all ok.
Sarah I'm glad LD is better
Dubai is lovely, prices have really gone up since I last visited, but I guess that's a good thing. I have bought a pair (well, maybe 2 or 3) pairs of shoes in the sales here, and my sister bought me a pair of fitflops as an advance birthday present (no cheaper than at home for those ones ) Went to the 'top' of the Burj Khalifa (well, only the 124th floor) but the view was just wow. I've been taking random pictures to share with you guys (hope you don't find it weird I miss you as much as my RL friends) and I'll post them here: http://s1187.photobucket.com/albums/z399/sawan82/Dubai%202011/
