I would like to join please. I am an avon addict, so on a monthly basis i usually spend roughly about £20 on toiletries.
I am not counting the order i have sent off for already however... But i believe its just mascara and other makeup bits.
Does anyone know an alternative to makeup wipes? I find i go through them very quickly...Currently doing the 100 day challenge, and trying to read all the books i own before buying any more challenge.
I've saved £175 so far this month just in selling old items on various websites & Saving coppers!!0 -

Firstly, welcome to the thread. Secondly, Tesco Value baby wipes are brilliant! They're like 20p and pack and there's either 100 or 80 wipes (can't remember) so even if you did use loads it wouldn't cost a lotSavings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -

phoenix_dragon I'm really jealous of all the lush goodies, cupcake mask is lovely. But herbalism is just a cleanser, not a mask, you just mix it with water then use it as a normal cleanser. It's amazing, one of my favourites
Cool, thanks rosemary, I didn't know thatMeans that I don't have as many masks to use...phew!

Hi everyone, finally got my internet working yesterday but it's still a little dodgy and lost a message I wrote yesterday
Re: smells I think it's really important too. I don't have a particular favourite though... I love mango, moringa and vanilla (which I am yet to own) scented body butters equally
The hemp cream I tried the other day seemed good for my hands but Im not sure I could ignore the weird smell
Big news though... I have a job offer
Not feeling as excited/happy about it atm as I probably should because it would mean living away from OH during the week. It's only 40-60 mins on the train but it's in the contract to live REALLY near incase of out of hours emergencies. I want to stay in this flat with OH full time but I think it would be really stupid to turn it down... it's actually a good job with lots of training, a good salary & various other perks. It's really just the moving (and a bit of the being on call for emergencies thing) that puts me off.
OH would be upset if i took the job I think. He's not happy for me about getting offered it at all. I don't want him to be upset/annoyed with meI think i'd be lonely during the week too and it'd be my fault for making us both unhappy.
I'd kinda appreciate some 'grown up' advice0 -
ps. Hi Amy0x.
I use whatever wipes I find for about 50p... I'll try baby wipes now though
Or I use a liquid cleanser & cotton pads
Also well done on the saving/selling0 -
Thanks for that Body Shop email Rosemary - now let's see if I can avoid actually using it :rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

Hello girls, I would like to join the challenge this month. Have been mainly lurking and sometimes posting. But watching this thread for too long just makes me obsessed about toiletries!
My INS so far in July: Nivea lipbalm, Bourjois foundation
OUTS (due to gifting): Boots curl creme (WIBA - No, my hair is now straight, but it was perfect for scrunching curly hair, and costs only £1), Boots botanics super face balm (WIBA - No, too greasy, passable as lip balm) and Organic Source Night Cream (WIBA - No, makes me break out). I also binned an ancient concealer.
I have quite a few splutterers, so some more UU's should follow shortlyAnd since I bought a foundation recently, I shouldn't need to buy anything this year (shocking)

Evening allDoes anyone know an alternative to makeup wipes? I find i go through them very quickly...
I use baby wipes too, but not the Value ones. I can't stand those! I use Tesco/Morrisons/Boots own ones. They are normally on offer 3 packs for £2 or similar. I prefer these cos they are larger than the value ones.
No UU's today but quite a few OUTs. I went through my make-up drawers and chucked out some old lipglosses/eyeliners/eyeshadows. CBA to list them all but got rid of 10 things. Also got some more bits to add to swap group on FB.
