VALM & EH - thanks for the glitter nail varnish removing trick, I'll let you know how it goes.

Fixx - it's nice to see you back again! What does it say about toiletry prices / selection in Switzerland that we're both on this thread and have to cart suitcases of the stuff back from Blighty?!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend

Morning all! I have a couple of Ins to report, 1 SD Vit E hot cloth cleanser want to try and see if it as good as the others but its cheaper! Also got 2 x Mitchum powderfresh spray deodorant reduced to 99p each in SD. This is my fave Mitchum flavour.

Picked up two Instyle mags to get a mascara and 2 eyeliners, am giving the black eyeliner to my DD's though so one straight out.

One UU BS Rainforest Radiance conditioner - WIBA Yes already have. This is a very thick conditioner and I think feels quite intensive and does take some rinsing out. The only downer is that its a bit of a pain to get out of the bottle as there is no squeeze factor to the bottle. I ended up decanting the last of it into an empty top down conditioner bottle which was much easier, so I have kept the empty bottle for the next one!

I have resisted the BS offers this month YAY!

    Two UU to report.

Kerastase Lait Nutri-sculpt. WIBA? In theory yes but it's a bit of a luxury now and I can't afford it.

Spiezia rosehip facial oil. WIBA? Probably not but it was good for my skin.

Am finding my S&G conditioner to be a proper long haul job - I really hate the smell but its last FOREVER

I go on hols next week so hope to have a long list of UU to report afterwards :D

Walked past some people having fish pedicures in Durham on Thurs. I'm so pleased you enjoyed yours. They were all sat in full public view, I would hate this aspect of it!

Oh I wouldn't never do it in public!!! ;) :rotfl:. It was a proper spa with a closed off area with the tanks in it. They only have room for 2 people and I was with a friend so it was just us.

Anyone needing to buy the l'oreal eye make up remover it is half price in SD as is lots of l'oreal skincare, it was £1.37 so showing restraint I got one, I do use this quite quickly though, think it is the cap because I seem to have more on the cotton pad than I really need.

Also some more in's, I wanted the no17 photo flawless primer, I don't have a primer so feel this was justified, got an eyeliner aswell so that I could get the nail bar in a bag, DD was with me and later I did her nails with it, she is very pleased. Also got an Aveeno body lotion, it's not for me though I got it for the kids as they have just finished their garnier 7 day moisturiser, the sensitive one with honey which was lovely.

Also had an NPI, wanted the BS mascara in instyle but wouldn't pay £3.70 as there is just nothing to read in that mag these days, if it had been £2 in T's like last month I would have got it. I don't think I can ever recall a time when there were so many freebies with mags as there is now, trouble is people won't be so keen on buying without them.

Finished up the benefit face wash from the set this morning - (have mentioned that it was nearly gone before, but was suprised how much longer its gone on for!!) WIBA? Most definately. Love the benefit stuff anyway - but REALLY like their facial care range. (though dont rate the emulsifier day moisturiser at all - the thicker one in the pot is much nicer.)

Hugs for everyoen who needs them - and welcome any newbies I havent said hello to as well. Back off to meet the vet in a sec - for Red, who has decided to be precious about one of her hind legs - god knows what shes done to herself, but as its not putting her off her food Im sure shes not at deaths door.... naughty horse on a sunday !!!

    take care everyone xx

    welcome to the newbies.

I am reporting some splutterers at last. LHJ S & G Clean on me is almost finished. I have been using this for months so good value but I am bored with it now. Also my Johnsons Shower and shave is nearly done as well. Really like this product but I had went a bit "bulk buying crazy" when it was on for a pound three years ago. This is the end of my last bottle and yes I WBA.

    Have a good day.

A quick Hello from me as I know I've been quite quiet :D

Little Dog has been back to the vets for more tests :( He came out wearing a very fetching red bandage :p back again in 2 weeks :(

No new movers and shakers in my stash - not doing well this month - should mean I have a good August though :D

Have booked tickets to go and see my Aunt in Scotland with National Express as they have a summer offer on - not looking forward to the overnight journey (13 hours each way ) but couldn't afford to go by plane/train. So I shall be AWOL towards the end of the month for a week.

    Hugs to all

The Law of Sod applied to animal ownership kicking in there, Trudi. Hope Red's injury is a) minor and b) cheap and easy to cure.

All my toiletries at the moment are LHJ's, though I think my son has been using my unscented Mitchum roll on as it's going down remarkably fast. It's supposed to last 48 hrs, I think he applies it 3 x daily.
