Have used the Liz earle superskin moisturiser I bought as part of a special priced set and it is really nice. On it's own it is quite expensive aswell but check out the reviews on QVC, they are a bit mixed but if you haven't opened it yet and don't want it, it would sell well on ebay.
Welcome back Fixx:hello:
Loving the stash lists
Have resisted the Bare Escentuals TSV today on QVC even though I really want the eye shadows.:A
My sale order came yesterday from L'occitane and I excitedly opened it and one of my ordered free sachet samples was missing. I unpacked it and the label from a BB was ripped and the lip balm tin was dented. I thought for L'occitane that was not up to their usual standard! So I thought I would e-mail them to let them know this and hoping they would send me my free sachet and maybe a discount voucher or something.
Was absolutely amazed when an hour later they e-mailed and said they were sending me a new BB and balm! These can now be used as gifts for my friend (or maybe I'll keep them:o) but even so really impressed by their CS.
Charlie - pleased your new job is going well!
Going for a shower - scalp is really itchy from the rain!0 -

Anyone who is a fan of Original Source Shower stuff - they are down to 97p again in Wilko's. :money:
The usual scents - honey and shea butter cream, lime gel, lemon and tea tree gel, mint and tea tree gel. One bottle lasts DS about 10 washes. I've only just started using my lemon and last time I had one a third went used up by DS before I could stop him, so he's now got his own. There were only 2 lemon and tea tree left, seems as if I'm not the only one who loves this as a summer refresher.
Lemon OS is dd2 favourite shower gel. ds likes the lime. Luckily they both get more than 10 showers out of the bottle.
I stocked up last time wilkos were selling them cheap - just got one lime left now, so maybe I should restockXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

UU soft and gentle deodrant, WNBA, smell wasn't that nice, much prefer the dove ones. Using up a travel size Sure one that i've had for about 5-6 years. Should be gone pretty quickly as i've used it at odd times before.0

Yup... as mentioned previously, tea tree oil can be added to shampoos and conditioners to make your own tea tree version and is good against athlete's foot.
Almost anything that is moisturising will do as foot cream, particularly if it is past the use by date. Vaseline is wonderful for conditioning leather, I often use it on my shoes after I've used it on my feet!
I've got a Mitchum spray anti-persp that is very sting-y in armpits, (the roll-on is my HG. Weird.) but it does a great job on my feet, as does the body scrub that I dislike using on my torso.
Body brushing has made scrubs redundant anyway for me.
You can use talc as dry shampoo if desperate; I don't recommend it. Any conditioner can be used as a moisturiser for shaving and that seems to work ok.
My other chief use for Vaseline is as a barrier for hair colourant, it works really well for that.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Trying to get bits together. I don't think the words 'packing light', 'toiletries' and 'makeup' could be used together by me (other than now) *sigh*. At least I'm light packing with clothes usually. Parents reminded me that a cousin's henna night is in Dubai while over there, so got to take clothes for that. We miss the wedding by a day though.
OUT
Next Just Pink Hand Cream 30ml - WIBA? No. Thrown this out as niece1 (in a good-ish 13 year old mood) told me she has a Next hand cream the same or similar and does not look or smell like that. I used it once and thought the texture was off. Not happy using this. Again it's about 9 years old
Next Just Pink Shimmering Body Lotion 30ml - WIBA? MAybe. Like the shimmer, smells q nice. Got far too many to get through though. Photographed part of my toiletries stash today to list at some point...
Welcome to youngone90
LadyM I think it's a cheaper retail therapy maybe? Or an addiction I think in my case. It was eyeshadows, then liners, currently trying to beat nail varnish
Decided to take a Dior palette with me under PRCP. I bought it in Dubai 3 years ago and haven't opened it. It's still in its cellophane! Not for much longer if strong enough with my willpower! :rotfl:No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
May INs: 14 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 11
2012 INs: 77 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 91
Savings from UUs: £60.50

Another UU.
I have FINALLY used up Chi Vital Eye Gel. :j
I am delighted as it has taken me simply ages to finish it! :j :j
WIBA? Nope. I don't think it did much, TBH: it was probably only good as a refreshener, really.
And I'll have another eye cream gone in a day or two as I refound a small Clinique sample that had disappeared halfway through being used, so I'm delighted at using all this stuff up.Please call me 'Pickle'

Good morning ladies. Have been catching up on posts - trying to keep up with you all day by day! - One Out to report : have chucked out my bottle of OPI Didgeridoo your nails. It's gone so gloopy and has chipped off badly so have decided there's no point in hanging onto it for sentimental reasons lol. Not sure whether I'll replace it either. Have repainted my nails this morning with OPI Espresso Your Style. Here is link to a piccy of this lovely colour (not my nails) http://thenaildiary.blogspot.com/2011/06/swatch-folder-opi-espresso-your-style.html.
Going to TBS at lunch time to spend the giftcard and hopefully get a replacement cleanser. Think I'm going to buy a serum with the gift card.
Have a busy weekend ahead so not sure if I will get to post again. My daughter's karate club are taking part in a local carnival tomorrow so we will be there all day and on Sunday planning on going into Manchester to get her a swimming costume (though she wants a bikini - eek) from Primark.
Have a good day everyone. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
