Welcome back Fixx! Good to 'see' you :)

Had a busy-ish morning. Had a BT engineer come round to replace my BT Vision box. then a follow-up appointment with a podiatrist for my dodgy ankle, so insoles have been amended and another (maybe final) follow up in three months. Then went to town to change a bra I'd bought 2 weeks ago (Wonderbra Up to Day). Debenhams is the only place I'd seen it, and it looked good, just the fitting wasn't quite right. So got fitted again, and was told that kind of bra isn't really what I need (boo :( as it did enhance my 'assets' :rotfl:), but I am wearing wrong size, so bought 2 bras. In all fairness, I was told the same size today as the last time I was fitted, it just 'felt' tight so I amended to what I thought was ok :o

I should be at work, but I've given myself the day off :D

Going to get into the loft to remove suitcases for sister and me. Then going to start sorting out what I want to take with me, as have to pack tonight/tomorrow as got the wedding on Saturday. Decided to wear a tea/dusty pink shalwar kameez, will post pic later once I can find it :p

Loving the stash lists. LadyM I was looking at your eyeliner list, and I see a fellow liner junkie :D I don't know why I buy so much makeup, as I hardly wear it!!! Mariella love your list too :)

I have the Benefit skincare gift that was free with the Debenhams Beauty Club, so going to find that () and take that with me instead of decanting larger pots I think.

Did you guys know that SD MUA now have crackle polishes called --- quake? They're £2.99. I resisted :(

i was clearing out a draw today (really should be revising!) and I found some more goodies -

    sanctuary body scrub travel size
    sanctuary foaming bath wash
sanctuary mini lotion - but this is half used and was over a year old so is going in the bin, it smells off.

i also couldn't resist the sanctuary offer boots have on. i spent £10.20 on their salt scrub so got the mini spa treats (worth £10) free. ive never tried this scrub before and as i gave one of my scrubs away i thought i would get this one otherwise there would be no scrubs in my stash. i also gave one of my body butters away and have another one listed on ebay. i have a body butter that im allergic to so am going to return it to boots - only this means exchanging it for three/four of jergen's body moisturisers as they are currently half price at boots and i really want to try this range out. enough about toiletries now - i have an exam tomorrow morning and all i can think about is going back to boots afterwards!

Wheesh, some impressive stash lists there, Lady M and Mariella. :D

Anyone who is a fan of Original Source Shower stuff - they are down to 97p again in Wilko's. :money:

The usual scents - honey and shea butter cream, lime gel, lemon and tea tree gel, mint and tea tree gel. One bottle lasts DS about 10 washes :( . I've only just started using my lemon and last time I had one a third went used up by DS before I could stop him, so he's now got his own. There were only 2 lemon and tea tree left, seems as if I'm not the only one who loves this as a summer refresher.

Forgot my UU - a tube of tea tree antiseptic cream that was past the use by so got used up as foot cream - great for preventing athlete's foot. WIBA? Not as a foot cream, no, and I'm tending to use neat tea tree added to shampoos, Sudocrem etc. Tea tree oil added to a boring Tesco herbal shampoo has knocked an itchy scalp right on the head. I pour the shampoo into my palm and then I add about five drops of oill, which I mix in with a finger. It really does seem to do the trick and has saved me buying another shampoo. (The itchy scalp wasn't nits, btw, but a hangover from that awful Clairol foam.)
One IN but I had none, some lavender oil from Wilko's - very cheap, something like £1.57. Wilko's oils are very good, I noticed they now have eucalyptus, not seen that before. Savers only seem to do tea tree.

Hi everyone, I'm definitely in! I have been reading this thread for a couple of days now and have decided as my stash of toiletries has really got out of control I need to join. I have a really weakness for Lush and the Body Shop. The thought of posting my entire collection is pretty daunting but I'll try to do it later tonight (even though I really should be studying).
I have had a few UU's since the beginning of the month:
Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion- WIBA? I have another one in my stash, after that I don't know. It was mattifying but I'm not sure it actually helped in clearing up blemishes.
Lush Trichomania Solid Shampoo- WIBA? Probably not, there are a lot of other shampoos, both solid and liquid, that I have liked far more.
Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter 50ml - WIBA? Again, no as I prefer the other body butters more. I actually have a full sized pink grapefruit body butter but as it's unopened and it's not one of my favourites I'm thinking of trying to sell it on eBay.

I'm sure there was another UU but I cannot think of it. I have a couple of splutterers too.
I like the bit in the OP that suggests finding other uses for some toiletries. For example I don't have a lot of shampoo but I have tons of showergel so when I run out of shampoo, I'm just going to use the showergel until thats gone too and use diluted conditioner in a spray bottle as leave in conditioner so my hair doesn't dry out, then the conditioner will last longer too. I also used some of my shower gel as bubble bath today and I couldn't believe the bubbles that it made, I didn't think it would work as well as bubble bath. I can't have baths without bubbles lol, so that's another way to use up my shower gels. I've been using up some of my less favoured body butters on my feet, as I noticed my foot lotions didn't seem to make any difference. So I use them with my Body Shop moisture socks that I got half price in the last sale.

Does anyone have any other ideas about other uses for toiletries you already have?
