My book arrived this morning - there's some really pretty things in there. I had a look earlier for my embroidery threads and I can't find them - I think I've thrown them all away, I've got a few cross stitch kits left though so in the mean time I can steal some thread from those. I was thinking of nipping in an art shop near the kids' school before I pick them up - I'm sure I've seen felt in there - fingers crossed, there's a photocopy shop on the way there too so I was going to attempt to copy most of the patterns in the book - I just hope DS behaves himself!

ClaireBear - thanks for sharing your pics - the half eaten gingerbread man is a great idea - love his facial expression, and I'm really impressed with your murloc - did you make the pattern up yourself?

midnightraven3 - fabulous gingerbread men - love the little pinny and rolling pin on the lady one, and the little fellow peeking out of the sack is so cute!

Well - I managed to pick up a few sheets of felt, but I was in a rush so I just grabbed a few colours, I didn't manage to get the patterns photocopied but I'll try tracing them instead. When I get the chance I'm going to try doing a strawberry - wish me luck!

    Mary - hi!

Midnightraven3 - your baby gingerbread man is adorable!!! Love the feathers on your mittens!

I've bought pack's of felt in poundland, think it was about 8 or 10 sheet's, it's quite thin though,so maybe not suitable for most job's, I used it to make halloween dec's. It's mixed colours. Hubby made lovely roses with it (but keep that under your hat:o) for hairclips for our daughter using this pattern http://www.purlbee.com/rose-barrettes/
    Booo!!!
