i have been with them for around 2 years, and was on 150kbps for 15.99 (which WAS a quid more than my dial up) then in new year they upgraded almost everyone to 256kpbs for no xtra, BUT as you know they are now offering a 1mb (2gbcap) for same money.
i am in process of attempting to get this upgrade, but so far they have only offered me 512kbps for 17.99. Some stuff and nonsense about 1mb not being possible due to "technical constraints" same hogwash they tried on everyone to get out of the above promised upgrade earlier in the year!
I am going to insist they upgrade me, or look elsewhere!
other than that, they're not bad, i have had no service / customer issues with them

I would definitely chase them to see what is going on. Can you check your order on line?

I srecently signed up with tiscali (Feb 05), then used this site and am now thinking   , perhaps should have done more research but do not think I can withdraw.

Response was prompt (e-mail and letter) and was told could track order online with customer code at:

    http://www.tiscalico.uk/products/broadband/ordertrack

modem and disc arrived within 7 days

    hope this is some help.

I would not recommend Tiscali to anyone !

I have been with them for about 14 months.

The customer services is the worst i have ever encountered anywhere.

There was a period of about 6 weeks where my 512 BB was slower than dial up. They were telling me it was my computers fault.
In the end they admitted it and i got 1 month free. Not from the Indian customer services though, they really are useless.

    You have been warned !

    Check it....

The only reason i'm am still with them is because its running ok at the moment and we are thinking of moving soon. Will cancel then for sure !

Number is on their website: 0870 991 3366

Can't find a geographical equivalent number but you could try their general customer service number if you don't want to pay 0870 rates: 0207 872000
