Because they are the lifeblood of your business. You don't sell, no worries they'll find someone else. They don't buy, you're up the creek.

    Quality?

As I said earlier, the only feedback you'd ever get from me would be a neg or a neutral, with very low stars on comms as well.

    Why? Have I missed something?

With the attitude that "every buyer is a scammer, I can't leave feedback in case they try to get one over on me" I'm far more inclinred to be unsympathetic, whereas "paid promptly" gets a positve and good stars.
Didn't you say your stars were scraping along the bottom?
So if your quantity is low, and the quality is low, you know why.
Because no one trusts you either, and it shows to the rest of us, and that's why Olias is 100%, and 5 stars.

I leave feedback on receipt of feedback from buyer. I have 10000+ feedback 100% positive and ALL my stars are over 4.8 and over (2 of them 4.9 and one of them is 5)so clearly this practice has done me no harm. I don't however chase for feedback and do not mind not getting it. I sell for cash not feedback. Feedback won't pay my bills....LOL

    100% - 4.97,4.98, 4.87,4.78 and never had a neg in 12 years.
Hows that scraping the bottom - talk sense.

My DSR's might be even higher if i knew the dashboard existed sooner - but some of us just get on with it and are naturally good. My postage dropped below 4.8 because i started using tracking. Bad me - i'm such a bad person for doing what ebay and paypal advised.

Just cos i don't agree with scammers being allowed to get away with it does not make me a bad seller. But as i have already said - i would question why anyone on here resents me attacking scammers? Its like walking in a prison and saying criminals are bad. You expect to be attacked. But the group of people on here that keep attacking me for having a go at scammers - i don't get - and i can only reach one sensible conclusion. Hence the name scammers corner.

And what we said, if you want to come up with a totally incorrect sweeping generalisation, why are untrustworthy sellers defending not leaving feedback?

Eh? Is that comment directed at me? I feel like I am caught in the crossfire here?

Why am I an untrustworthy seller just because I leave feedback on receipt of feedback?

    No, you're not.
I've never found any bad seller on ebay.

Just going off what was said earlier

Same here - never had a neg but i'm below standard and threatened with restrictions - just cos i took ebay and paypals advice and started sending recorded delivery.

Not been scammed since - but being punished for using recorded. Only on Ebay, can someone happily agree to trade with you - and then say your a bad seller afterwards, for charging the agreed postage they were aware of before bidding..................

Do you think my scores are below standard?

Everyone with brains knows this is purely an ebay excercise in lowering postage and increasing prices - hence they get higher fees.

Anyway, its time the usual suspects stopped hijacking discusions because they don't like a particular MSE'er. Its not fair on the rest.

Mrs_Justjohn you just happened to agree with someone Mickey72 and Oliver14 etc follow from thread to thread attacking. I am a scammers worst nightmare - and for some reason they don't like it. But they should keep their personal dislikes to themselves - and stop hijacking peoples threads to have a pop at me.

You defend scammers - i will slate them - i'm comfy being in the corner thats right.

Possibly, your paranoia over being scammed leads you to hijack every thread?
If you do actually read any of the posts, you'll find I posted on the first page, you jumped in with your usual scammer theory later on, and found you got the response you normally do off most people.
Apart from "Oliver14", there doesn't appear to be a post in this thread?
