Out of all of them I would recommend the tempranillo that I think is called "Toro Loco" and comes in a bottle with a bull's head fashioned from a corkscrew on the label. It's either £3.50 or £3.99, lovely smooth, fruity flavour and around 13%. We buy it all the time- great wine at a great price :beer:

This is my favourite wine anyway despite the price. Agree with you completely about it. Hope they don't increase the price as it is very popular!

White wine fans - inspired by this old thread, I've tried a few over the last few weeks and am pleased to report that Lidl's USA Colombard (branded Cimarosa, as are all their "own label" wines) is an absolute gem.

£3.99 a bottle, with £2 off the (half) case if you buy six.

That's Christmas sorted.
