Thanks so much to the op and everyone who has explained this deal. It came at such a good time for me as I had just eaten the very last thing from my big freezer- sausage meat from last Christmas- and drunk the last bottle of Turners.
After the weight I put on in the Tesco glitch I decided that I will be serving the finest food up to the family but on the whole I will be eating weightwatchers ready meals when they have them as I can't do that again. I find these meals for two usually stretch to 3, except for en croute things or mini desserts. I love it that the cheese is also there as that sorts weekend lunches for the family too.
I got 9- 3 to try at the self service then 6 mixed in with a big shop. It is not noticeable when there is a lot of stuff. Then got fuel with 10p off for spending over £60 so saved £5. Cool.:D

For anyone out there who now has a ton of the GU chocolate mousses, I can confirm that they are freezable, despite the packaging saying do not freeze me.

I test froze a couple overnight to see what would happen, took them out this morning and tried to eat one only to find it was spoon-bendingly solid. Decided to give it a 30 second zap on high in the microwave, removed it to find a warm super rich chocolatey sauce had formed around inside of the glass pottle, and the remainder had softened to a hard icecream like consistency. Not the healtiest brunch, but it tasted fabulous.

I somehow managed to restrain myself from eating both, and intend to let the other defrost fully to see if defrosts back into a mousse, or as I suspect, a runny sauce like substance.

I hope this helps all those out there, who like me, were a bit worried they'd have to eat several of these a day to get through them before the use by date :D

I wouldn't freeze glass jars as the water expands and the jar can shatter, it would be ok overnight I suppose but long term you could lose your yummy puds and have to clear glass out of the freezer, eating them right away is the only option ha ha !!

Thanks to OP for posting this glitch. Has anyone tried this in Liverpool yet.

I am hoping to get there later when my OH comes home.:)

I've just tried 6 lots in one go, got exactly the right torretta wine as I did last night and 6 of each side, main, and desert
But did not take off the meal deal, so as with last nights attempt, it seems my local, haywards Heath has fixed the glitch on the wine working with the deal, unless it's suddenly been fixed now nationally?

I was going to leave in the next hour or so to get some, can you estimate what time it wasn't working and we can see if anyone had success after you.
