Sainsbury's meal deal glitch?

Is this working with just the 3 gammons or will it work with a combo of gammon & chicken en crout, IYKWIM!

At the self serve will the discount for 3xwine & 3xmeat show as you put them through so you know it is going to work!

Someone on the other board has said it didn't work for them at my local so before I go to try at a different store (where nobody knows me!!) just wanted to check I do everything right!!

No it works with any main x3 (& can be mixed mains), but if you buy 3 gammon you get an extra £2 off as there is a separate deal on meats (3for£10).

Its the Wine that does it buy only

yes it will work with the gammon and chicken en croute for the meat discount

the discount wont show untill the end

just make sure you get the correct wine and it will work fine,

Sorry may be a dumb question but does anyone know if they have these in Sainsbury locals please..don't have a big Sainsbury near by but do have a small local.

Any combination of gammon & chicken en croute works. I bought 2 gammon & 1 chicken yesterday.

Nothing shows on screen at all until the final screen when you come to pay.
Good in a way as there is nothing showing on the screen when the SA comes to authorize the alcohol, so nothing to alert them....but nerve racking for you.

Any combination of food within the deal works..it's the choice of wine that is important..it has to be the Torretta...red, white, or a combination of the two.

(The gammon...and chicken en croute give a slightly better discount as they are also in the 3 for £10 meat deal..so if you by these it comes in at £11.xx If you buy other mains it will cost £15 ish. )

Worked for me this morning £13.53 excellent on mixture of mains, sides and desserts with the 3 Torretta red wine. Even had to inform SA what items were in the meal deal, whilst looking for some of the items, so she thanked me and moved them to the deal section, so not all items included may be found in the deal section. HTH
