Sainsbury's meal deal glitch?

just making shopping list and on my online i have a chicken and mushroom bake in the offer has anyone tried this instore :cool:

Does this work in all stores...last night I went to my nearest big one and found the wine on 3 for £12 but when I asked if it was included in the meal deal the SA looked on the meal deal shelf end and said as it wasnt listed then no the wine was not in the meal deal....
feeling a little more confident this morning so may venture to another store...

our offer includes turkey joint, anyone know if this works? nothing about 3 for £10 meat on it - but in with the meal deal cheers

I tried this last night and it didnt seem to work I think maybe it's as I had a rose wine? I'll try again at lunch today.
Does anyone know if it's working in the middlesex area?

The SA probably doesn't know it's in the meal deal. The wine isn't in the meal deal fridge. I just took it from elsewhere & added the food. It worked fine.:)

Not sure about the turkey. Didn't see it in ours or on the deal on the website. I personally wouldn't risk it..unless you want to try it first to see if it scans with the meal deal & are prepared to swap it if it doesn't.

It has to be the Torretta wine. Nothing else will work.

I got this deal in Glasgow Braehead with the chicken and mushroom pasta bake and it worked fine! And the pasta was very nice as well!

Did you try this morning or yesterday ? When i went last night there was 6 bottles left , only took 3 .
But now reconsidering to go back in case they had more wine .

Go and do it. Just be prepared to see it all adding up and your bill coming to about £113 even when you have scanned everything. It will say Amount to pay £113 or thereabouts (which is terrifying, really) but then it says how are you going to pay and you click cash or card, and then suddenly it shows all the discounts and a new total of approx £27. You must hold your nerve Just use the Toretta wines. Any of the meal combinations work, including the spinach canneloni and the chicken mushroom pasta. Don't know about the turkey, that sounds new from this morning.

I put the 6 wine through first so the SA could approve it and then went on. Use your nectar card!
