Big hugs to everyone who spotted this deal.

I miss about 95% of deals and offers - never in the right palce at the right time, too small shops around here, 60 mile round trip to bigger stores etc .... But this has to be the absolute best :D

I went just after 8 this morning. You have to make sure you can get the right wine first. I got the white T PG - not much left on the shelf in ours but all of the offer wines were together.

Its best to look at the list on the Sainsburys website before you set off as not everything is in the "dine for £10 " offer - the flat breads were not in mine, had to find them on the shelf but they did have the right shelf edge label.

I am thinking that maybe you could use them as pizza bases for home made pizza - something to keep kids amused over the summer holidays :D

Also got the vanilla cheesecake which does not look very exciting. Just wondering wether to make some sor of couli with frozen fruit to put on the top

Also used my conditional spend vouchers and a double spend.

I wouldn't freeze glass jars as the water expands and the jar can shatter, it would be ok overnight I suppose but long term you could lose your yummy puds and have to clear glass out of the freezer, eating them right away is the only option ha ha !!

I did consider this but hoped that there would be enough air in the mixture to allow for the expansion.

As I was freezing a load of gammon, chicken en croutes and roast potatoes  I had the freezer on fast freeze, so I'm pretty confident if they survived that the'll be ok.

Came to £42 so I had to do the old "Ooops I've forgotten my card" trick. Guessing they've fixed the glitch or have I done something wrong?

I tried it last night -bought 3 meal deals and the red Torretta Di Mondelli and it worked. We tried the wine last night and I was dissapointed. It originally costs £9.49 but it tastes like a very cheap wine.I was panning to go again today but I would not buy this wine.
Has anyone tried other red wine ?

Yes my OH tried the red last night and asked me how much the wine was meant to be, he said definitely not a £9.49 bottle taste wine. And only ok for £4 a bottle, definitely tastes like a cheaper wine.

On the other hand we had the chicken en croute for tea last night and it was delicious, a lot nicer than the chicken and ham hock pies that were with the Tesco finest meal deals a while back. And the sticky toffee pudding was yummy too, enough to share between the four of us. :)
  • It worked! These thing don't usually for me :D ok, 3 Mondelli Pinot Grigio Blush, 3 spinich and ricotta cannelloni, 3 Garlic flat breads and 3 profiterrole pyrimids all for £13.44!

    Thank you OP!

OH, that was Sainsbury's Colchester avenue, Cardiff BTW. there was loads of everything left too.
