What an absolute joke :mad::mad: I was sat there when the sale started and pressed go about 1 second after the deadline.. blocked from the word go. Then it said all the rooms had gone in 10 minutes.

What is it that decides who gets through first cos it`s never bloomin me :mad::mad:

I bet it`s the `London Lot`that gets preferred treatment :mad:

If you think you got a room, but don't have a confirmation email, check your spam folders. Gmail had spammed my confirmation email.
I'm pretty sure the confirmation number is the main thing though.

I am a "london lot" sat at my desk in london now in fact and the hotel is about ten minutes away and I didnt get one either.

Why is eveyone moaning? Its no different to any other grabbit, some you win some you dont. I had the page open in several browers from an hour before. Lets just look forward to the next one... better luck next time.

Gutted! Just phoned them up and they have no record of a booking under my name so it looks like I don't have a room after all. I was so excited when I got the screen saying it had gone through at a pound as we never win anything and can't afford to go away this year. Just kicking myself for not printing off the confirmation screen! Oh well, it wasn't meant to be I guess!

disappointed not to get one this time, forgot the HTML page trick this time, the flash booking page is awful though, half the time only half the page loaded and got errors about couldn't find settings. The worst bit was I selected a room, then it couldn't find my previous details so had to fill them in again only for the room to get sold out by the time I had clicked "I Agree".

My only complaint is the poor flash booking process, well done to anyone that got a room though.

Can't believe I got one! Confirmation received! Third time of trying - I used the html site and it all went smoothly. I couldn't find any cheap train fares for my date though...

I got my date too, I refreshed the page with 30secs still on the countdown and it said it had started. So off I went through the booking, even had to go back and select the room type as I forgot the first time.

Email conf received at 12:02.
