National lottery is frustrating with little chances of, but 3 million people a week still take part.

Theres only one hotel, in Hoxton, London.
We went about 4 or 5 years ago, cost us £6 for the hotel and transport as national express had coach journeys for £1 e/w and we got 2 nights a the Hoxton for £1 each. That was the early days of the £1 sale.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Going to go out later to try and get a £1 room would be excellent
going to London in October anyway so fingers crossed!0 -
I managed to get one of these about 3 years ago. Very good deal. Might as well give it a go!0

It says it takes full payment so is that the full standard rate on booking then it is reduced?0

Is there a HTML link or any advice for upping your chances this time?
TIA

Unless it has changed recently, it only takes the discounted rate.
Good luck to those that try to get a room. The last few times I've been faced with overloaded servers and crashed web pages once you do get in and think you may have a chance. Of course this is because it is a very popular offer and it is a nice hotel (though not in a nice area). I've given up trying as it is so frustrating, so that's one less competition for you all.
IMO the offer used to be a lot better when they had 500 £29 rooms in addition to the £1 ones, still a bargain and in my experience they were still available after the £1 ones had long gone (well 5 minutes or so after). We never failed to get a £29 room when we tried for one and £29 for 2 in London (plus a "pret" breakfast) is hard to sniff at.
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0
