Managed to get one (have received the confirmation email!) I just kept clicking refresh for about 5 minutes until I got through the the booking page.

Was surprised that it crashed right on the dot of 12 as they'd been saying how they'd improved their system since the last sale....obviously not improved enough!!

Well done to everyone else that got one!

(I found it too late also.. I just spent 10 mins shouting at the screen "Nobody uses Flash anymore!")

It didn't take much to do a bit of research from previous threads and get the information about HTML and autofill etc, I just took a bit of time this morning to figure it out!

I hate adobe flash sites instead of HTML, I refreshed about 40 times and only got the drop-down boxes loaded with a black blank screen etc.

Eventually I got in, chose my date but then realised even though there was only 1 type of room available and one date clicked it still said I had to double click each stupid yellow centre console etc. By the time I had done that, agreed to terms and pressed submit I got the error rooms now gone. I'd even copy / pasted my card number for speed!

Not sure from a marketing point of view how good this is for Hoxton. Sure i'm a bit bitter for not getting one but how many people would buy the normal room rates now? I think it would be better if they released 100 rooms per day over a week at random times much more fun, fairer and would also stop a twitter rush like we had just then... also does anyone actually ever verify there are 500 rooms? What if they just released about 20?
  • What a joke! They don't have a clue how to build an online booking system that works. I used two different browsers but the pages wouldn't render at all. Then when it did render, it said there were no rooms for the next year. Fair enough, I figured they'd all sold out. So I went into the main site to try and book a full priced room, and it too said they have no rooms for the next year. They've also swapped their contact us page for the sale page! I will definately NEVER stay at the Hoxton Hotel! The Travelodge site crashes when they have a sale but at least they don't build the site in flash! You either get through or you don't.

Is anyone else in my situation and not sure if they got a room? Really regretting not doing print screen on the confirmation screen now!

What a load of absolute rubbish!!!

Got there at 12 on the dot. Picked my date......nearly wet myself that it was available. Filled out all the details and got right to the T&C, only to be told it wasn't available and crashed out.

Never got back in successfully again.

First and last time I will waste my time trying this nonsense!!!!!!!!!!

i also tried the html link - in desperation - but just got the message "no rates found" (not sure whether this meant they'd already sold out for the date I was trying for - altho I was looking for a Sunday night - so less likely).
