Message the seller and ask for his bank details, I don't know whether an international bank transfer takes much longer than a UK to UK one Or how much it will cost you to do if anything.
Just checked with my bank (Halifax) & it would cost £7.50.

On which ebay did you buy? If you bought on ebay.UK then you can refuse to use an unsafe method and insist on paypal, if you bought on ebay Germany then you will have to use whatever payment method they want, even if it is unsafe.

You'd better check the charges as some banks are more expensive than others.
I've received bank deposits in euros, but not made one, so I can't comment.

MSE has a lot of useful info as well:

HSBC wanted £30 when I wanted to send £100 to Japan.

I suggested to the person I was sending money to that they sign up for Paypal and fortunately they did. :) I was happy to pay the sending fee so they received the full amount - it was a couple of quid - much better value than using the bank.

looks like the bank would charge £25 fees for sending 24 euros? so thats not an option.looked at moneygram but it says no locations in my area nuneaton? looked at weston union and can't find there fees so i think they are trying to hide them,so not looking good.will ask seller if he's willing to sign up to paypal or will ask to cancel purchase:mad: bogger it's a rare item

There used to be a guy on the ebay boards with a website that would change cheques/currency cheaper than the banks. Racking my brain trying to remember the name of it....i think its auctionchex there is a website here http://auctionchex.com/ found it via google. I would just look for some reviews before using just incase i am remembering it this wrong though.
