Does anyone know if the £250 that you need to open the online saver account is instantly withdrawable?

Hi Ems, the banks are not allowed to charge that amount any more, the law has changed, if you have had these type of charges in the last 6 years you should write to your bank and request they refund you. By law they must repay. Hope this is of some help to you.ems2 wrote:Not the correct forum i know but - Does this mean that if I go into my overdraft by the pennies that they have put in my Savings account I get charged 30 quid???!

Yes you can, I opened the account in August with £250 and within a week I had only £5.67p left in there. My account is still up and running.grandslamgirl wrote:Does anyone know if the £250 that you need to open the online saver account is instantly withdrawable?

I don't think I will do anything out of the ordinary to get more as it is too much trouble for little reward. If it involved lots of money, Lloyds TSB would not be doing it.To Dare is To Do:beer:0

you have to have the £250 in the savers account so i have been told it can be open without this but no interested and this is the catch they are geting the £250 for 2 months thus them making some money on lending that out etc.QuidcoPaid;£989.08
