Perfect, I've had a very similar promotion before in the USA.
In the US, we would just fill up 0.01 at a petrol station. It sounds like here you have to do a minimum £5 spend though on petrol? I'll probably do the petrol along with PayPal deposits of £0.01 to do this. Great way to get an easy £100!0 -
well i signed up but in the t&c it states
4.Tax will be payable on your matched payment on the same basis as the interest on your nominated savings account. For example, if you currently receive interest net (after the deduction of income tax) on your nominated savings account and the amount to be matched is £10 you will receive £8 in matched funds.
so how do we lose £2 on every £10 we invest is it only matched 80%QuidcoPaid;£989.08

this country likes to tax everything, it's not surprising.... coming soon, a tax on the number of characters you enter on the MSE forum! :eek:0 -
Basically every time you use your card, they take the pennies of the shop (ie if you spend £5.78 the take the 78p) they put it into a savings account, then at the end they add up all your pennies, match it and give you it back.
like a previous post said your really looking at 100 trasactions a month to make £50 our of them (unless you managed to deliberatly purchase at 99p and even that would be 50+ transactions in a month)
You'll make a few ££'s at mostDon’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -

they dont take the 78p they take the difference between that and a pound so the money in ya savers account from this transaction would be 22p rounded up as they state.QuidcoPaid;£989.08

It seems quite simple really - transaction rounded to nearest pound - the extra payment is paid into YOUR savings account and matched for two months. The tax is only payable on the interst and likely to be very low (due to the very low savings rates) The petrol idea looks good, paypal looks easy, or find something for 2 pence that rounds a 3.99 purchase up to 4.01 - tesco pick and mix??0

gunton10 wrote:one question if this is true cant we just transfer 1p t oa paypal address every day?
Thanks Toni Tax - this has been posted to HUKD (with credit) which is where I saw it. I'm sure this would be a very popular offer for savers....and those who don;t normally save0
