I'm really excited about starting the new job tomorrow. Today was supposed to be a day of doing nothing but I've managed to do things on my Frog List, some of which I didn't even know were on it:
- Paid nursery fees
- Put the bins out ready for collection tomorrow
- Meter readings for gas and electric taken and submitted
- Requested Nectar card (as old one ran out)
- Added new Nectar card to British Gas account (and the points I had collected on an old card which was no longer registered have been transferred
)

Hi QOTD,
I guess youll be posting a lot less now you have a job but I've just read the whole thread and I really like your style!! you sound amazingly motivated and happy and you've seriously done really well to get a new job which you actually want within such a short time period!!
The £25,500 is pretty scary when I look at that but I have only recently graduated and I guess my student loan is that big I just dont think about it!!!
I hope you have a good first day tomorrow and everyone you meet is are really nicea nice 3-day ease in should be pretty good too!
Any chance you could please send me a copy of the books which you keep refering to if you have them online/free? I would love to get a read but at the mo OH is looking for a new job because as of this week he has no job! (relocating so out of a job kind of on purpose but doesnt have a new job lined up yet!) and we're trying to save up so we can make one wage stretch to two.
I've subscribed and I hope you keep this thread going as a diary to help yourself stay on track to pay off those CCs (and not build them back up again once they're paid!!)
Lovely to 'meet' you,

sorry to have been MIA! Really glad that things turned out so well for you.
by the way i think it was very nice of you to pass on the other persons details. You never know when that sort of help will come back to you.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi,
Meant to say thanks for the email but got mad busy with work and hols and the such like! Will definitely try and make the time to have a look at them tho
I wish I could be interested in gardening, I have two yards and I can barely be bothered to weed them, definitely not green-fingered!!
I agree with the job thing, I have always tried to leave jobs on good terms, and recommend people if I think they deserve it! You never know when they may repay the favour!

Glad to hear that your first day in your new job went really well I will be in the same situation (if ever my boss gets her harris into gear and gets my redundancy sorted out ) I am looking forwards to it although know that its only temporary to cover maternity leave.
Having a caravan in the future sounds a great idea, I take it that you mean a static??
How nice of you to refer someone on for the vacancy, even if that other person doesn't want to move jobs then it would boost their confidence knowing that they have been head hunted...
