Ditto, mine didn't show up yesterday or today. I really hope that the 8-10 day lead time mentioned by the other poster is only for people ordering now (as opposed to people who ordered on the weekend)

I don't think any are likely to be delivered tomorrow, Wednesday seems most likely...assuming they actually have recieved their stock.

No need to panic. You can now downgrade TA-082 mobo PSPs, as long as the firmware is 2.71. If the firmware is lower than 2.71, you're still ok. You just need to update it to 2.71 first (instructions for all in the link below).

Downgrade it to 1.5, then upgrade to 3.02 OE-A, then upgrade again to 3.02 OE-B. Well worth the 30 minutes it takes to do the work.

3.02OE-A and B both work on that mobo. Do not make the mistake of upgrading to Sony's 3.02 firmware (without the OE - Open Edition), as you'll be totally !!!!!!ed.

As long as it's not a TA-082 mobo, a PSP running 2.80 firmware is downgradeable now. If it's a TA-082 running 2.80, you're going to have to wait.

Ely, did you go the whole hog and upgrade to 3.02OE-B (got to go to 3.02OE-A first)? If not, do it - it's well worth it.

People, please remember to make sure that you double check that you use the right software for the right mobo. It is possible that Viking will send you out a non-TA-082 mobo PSP. If that's the case, the job's a lot easier, but if you try the downdater for the TA-082 mobo on a non-TA-082 mobo, you could well brick your PSP. So, when you get the PSP, double check the mobo. Don't think that just because others here have been sent PSPs with the TA-082 mobo, that yours will automatically be a TA-082 mobo.
