denied insurance claim :(

Mrs.C1986 - i had bank insurance for 9 years and never made a claim or had a a need for claiming on anything. but i always thought i should keep paying the premiums just in case i would need it. even if i had read the t&cs all those years ago i doubt i would have remembered to read them now now.

the next morning, after realising it was missing i had it blocked. i called the bank up and they gave me the number of the insurance company they were associated with. however, they did tell me that the company might be closed due to to the weekend and i can call them up on monday and make a claim. i called them monday and got the papers on the Tuesday. filled them, and also went to the police to get a report. the only reason i didnt get a police report straight away was because i was under the assumption i might aswell go and get one when i get the claims paper and get everything done at once.

im now after a valid reason. not an excuse.

please help guys....i really need help

The insurance company dont really want to pay out to replace your phone so they put restrictive terms and conditions in to reduce the chances they will have to.

I would hazard a guess that there is no chance whatsoever they will change their mind, if its any consolation I imagine many people fall foul of this. If they didnt the insurance premiums would be a lot higher.
