Get it back & sell it on again, even if you have to pay for it to be cleaned professionally. As long as you're 100% certain that it's authentic you may get more for it.
Although best not to guess at the size, put all the measurements in the listing.
  • Hi
I am certain it is genuine- It was a gift from my sister in Law-she doesnt do fakes, she gave my daughter a gucci watch as well:eek:
The whole family are into the designer stuff , I cant be bothered myself, Id rather spend the money elsewhere :o
when i met oh it was terrible- I have had to crack him out of his designer habit , its ok if you can afford it but not when you cant!

No wonder it smells of smoke if she's had a party with people smoking and breathing all over it!!

shes just sent a message -apparently my item is now improved due to living on the balcony:p
also dry cleaners said they could remove tobacco "grease" from jacket but it will still stink of smoke.....I could happily give the woman a slap, she does have good feedback, which I do too but mine is only little as only been buying from email except for a cot i sold so this woman has done my head in:(
I will probably leave her to sweat herself into a frenzy for a few days then say she can send it back recorded so long as she has it professionally cleaned due to her party of smoking friends;)

    UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Please do not refund and let her keep the jacket though - £30 is a lot of money to lose!!

Sounds like she is spinning you a yarn!!

Make sure you get her to return it to you before refunding!!

I had a problem a few years ago with a Karen Millen top I sold - I had an email saying the top had shrunk and was not fit to wear! I sold it brand new... turns out the buyer had stuck the top (dry clean only!!) into her washing machine and it had shrunk (well... hello.. yes it will do!!). I went through about two weeks of abusive nasty emails until I told her to stop emailing me or I would seek legal action... this was when you could leave negative feedback for buyers!!

    oh.. those were the days!!!

    Good luck!!

Can I just say as a smoker (I know i know!) I cannot smell smoke on other people or clothing! You lose some of your smell and taste. So I would ask her why she asked her smoker friends to inspect the jacket? As surely myself and all the smokers I know are not the only ones who would find it difficult to smell smoke on clothing?
  • shes a nutjob:(
shes just sent me a message now through the resolution thing that she has now only had one smoking friend round who wasnt smoking- I just copied and pasted her previous messages and posted them back.
she needs to read what shes wrote first before writing different stuff- silly woman.
everyone else who has bought stuff from same wardrobe, same packaging hasnt complained, including a bridemaid dress etc
I did used to sell years ago on ebay and did have a few problems but it was always overseas who claimed they never recieved stuff- then scammed money back through paypal as post office didnt provide shipping nos for uk sellers so we were basically open for being scammed.
I dont know if all that has changed now though?

It hasn't, but how do you know people actually receive stuff and then say they don't?

ah- I know that a person was talking nonsense as he ordered an item off me ( a deep sea cb radio thing that was quite expensive). the man lived in colorado and it was addressed to the fire-station there.
I posted it immediately after payment ,he then sent me a message saying he had changed his mind.
I had just posted it so said it was on its way now-he filed a complaint imediately after saying he hadnt recieved it with paypal.....It couldnt have gotten there in that time if I had got on an airoplane and take in myself- unfortuately due to the post ofice not issuing shipping numbers paypal went in his favour.
I lost quite a bit of money to him, I wouldnt have minded if he sent the item back whe it eventually got there but he didnt.
when i phoned paypal they actually agreed that it was open to fraud in this manner:(

  • OMG:mad:
shes now sent another message in resolution saying the Prada label is falling off.
shes obviously set on destroying the jacket....does she have any right to send it back as its going to be un-sellable by the time she has destroyed it, Can I demand she returns it in the state it was sent in ie smoke free, not damaged by outside elements and also with the label repaired ..however as it is a Prada label it will now look fake if its been tampered with:mad:
If she lived close to me i would sooo go round there:eek:
