I would say ditto :rotfl:
I would check your blood pressure too."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
Wow.... I've been told!!!! I only wanted to know if this was normal, common practice for a bank to do this or even if they were allowed to do this as I have never been in this situation before.
As I said, I know I am in the wrong & need to clear the arrears asap I'm not that silly but I just think it's a little bit extreme the measures that they have used in this instance. It's not even like I owe them thousands, I only have a few months left before I have paid this loan off.0 -
I must be old fashioned, but I prefer to talk first to try to sort things out. Just do not sign anything until you are certain it is right.0

Thanks King Elvis, I was begining to feel like a child being told off... thought it was a bit extreme to analise everything I was posting!!!
ILW, I defo won't be signing anything that's for sure!!! I just prefer things in writing as you always have something to back you up if things go wrong.0 -

I apologise - I really do. I certainly didn't mean to come across like that, my frustration should have been aimed elsewhere
Whatever you decide I wish you all the best and hope it works out for you.0 -
No problem Hanky Panky, I know that you were just trying to help & you did put some good points across. I know what you mean about frustration, I am annoyed with myself for getting into this situation but felt it a little extreme that someone should knock on my door for 2 months arrears.
I wish you well too & I will make sure it all works well0 -

My thoughts on this are that it's better to deal with people at 2 months arrears than wait until they are further behind as the further behind probably decreases the chance of getting all / some / any of it back.
If you only want written communication / to see ID on the doorstep / them not to come around etc then you need to tell them - they are not mind-readers!
At the end of the day you have breached your contract and I know you say it is "only" 2 months arrears but it is still your responsibility to get back up to date and they can and may do everything (legally) possible to get you to pay up. Fortunately by coming on here we can help you with your "rights" to make sure that these guys don't go too far. Companies (especially DCAs) can get quite millitant and heavy with their contact!
Good luck.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
