  • Received their Email today. The text below is from their "About us" site. It has spelling and grammer errors which makes me think it is a scam of some sort.......I copied and pasted the text below.....
Also, this is SPAM which is illegal...........

Power of Opinons (Opinions) has been designed to give you the opportunity to joint (join) an online panel were you can express your views on different research topics. We strongly feel that we are the strongest online panel company in the industry. Why? Simply because we treat our entire panellist members equally and with high priority to all enquires, which most panel companies do not take into consideration.
Power of Opinions provide our entire Panellist members the opportunity to take part on online survey, online Focus group and Face to Face focus groups.
  • I got an email invitation to sign up for this on 29/6/11. I signed up, expecting to get lots of profile questionnaires to complete (like other survey sites) so they can send me relevant surveys. I have not had any of these and there is very little information on the website. I am also yet to receive an actual survey. Looks like it may be another bad survey site.

Well I've joined them, so I'll let everyone know how I get on.

Ripongrammargirl, I've signed up to various sites and there have been a few that never send out a profile survey, you have to login to the site and complete it. Also there have been a few sites where after joining I've not heard anything from them for weeks, so it doesn't always mean it's a bad thing.
  • I've also had one, i'm registerd with so many survey sites maybe they've got my details from there. I too was wondering how genuine the message is and if its worth joining

I was wondering since as you're joined up to quite a few different survey sites which ones are worth joining upto? Also at the moment I am with valued opinons who are great. Are there any other survey sites that pay aswell or better than them? As in how much of a reward per how much time. After all I don't wanna take a survey for an hour to be payed 50p :p

Also if anybody else knows of any I'd much appreciate it if you were to share thaks :D

    Slick Detective

The sites I like are - Panelbase, Global Test Market, My Voice, Mind Mover, Response Panel, and Crowdology. There are many more then this but it would be a very long and boring list.

I'd also check out Maximiles. This is a site where you earn points via cashback shopping, signing up to newsletters, requesting catalogues and filling in surveys via themselves and surveys.com.

If you want any more info on these sites or any others, or for me to refer you to any sites just send me a PM on here.

Have you been paid from Global test market yet? Or has anyone else? I joined through Topcashback last week. The FAQS say that you can redeem points for cash and that 1000 are worth $50. Do you get the equivalent in £.

I've been paid by GTM a few times, they convert the dollar value and send you a cheque in £ sterling.

I received a cheque For £30.68 on 7th July from Global Test Market, cashed 1000 points in on May 20th and the envelope is postmarked from Canada.

GTM have sent me payment cheques several times throughout the years.

1000 points generally converts to about £32 - £35, depending on the exchange rate. Am waiting for a payment currently, they can take up to 8 weeks.

I've been paid many, many times also by Global Test Market. As everyone else has said they automatically convert your payment into pounds and then it depends on the exchange rate what it is you receive. Tip, once you have the 1000 points keep your eye on the exchange rate and redeem it then, you may just get a few quid extra!
