before i signed up with BT i called sky, and in fairness BT was cheaper.
What you got to remember is your broadband will be no better than BT, as Sky use the BT exchange and network.
It is also public knowledge, that Sky and other providers dont get 100%capacity on the BT network, thus meaning generally speeds will be slightly less than BT.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -

Not when Sky have their own LLU kit in the exchange.
I had a good connection with BT sync at 8128 the max, left and went to Sky LLU and sync at 18024.
The only time Sky use BT gear is on the Connect package where Sky do not pay for enough bandwidth hence the reported problems with Connect0 -

Quite agree all LLu ISP put in 'their own' equipment in local exchange.
Try telling that to the hoards that synched 8meg+ and were capped at 2meg. We wont mention the marketing of FTTC that their staff hardly know anything about.
Check the traffic management with Sky and monthly caps, it used to be good same as O2/BE.
Must say i was on an old LLU product with O2 for 27 months, customer service was outstanding even when i intended leaving! Whats more call centres are in England and straight through within 30 secs. Try that with BT.0 -
just spoke to bt again and for cancelling my broadband it will be £54 in the end
regarding speeds i have a letter stating i will be getting 4mb is it for a few days and then it will go up once the line is optimised
then itll go upto 8mb
sky also have all there own stuff in my local exchange which is 1.5 miles away0
