I'll be damned if I would...Is the general consensus that I should return the Castrol GTX then?
Just bung it in and save the headache.
The oil you've got is roughly correct.
If I put Castrol GTX in my 1.9TD XUD engine, that would be considered a treat for it.I wouldn't put normal GTX in an old XUD engine0 -
I think there are a few different types of GTX - I'm sure I've seen stuff that is just plain old mineral oil whereas the bottle I bought yesterday is semi synth.
No idea what the A/whatever ratings are for it because I've not looked. The crappy uber cheap mineral stuff I have been sticking in so far is A2/B2 though0 -
