Just caught up with this one. I've been 'consumer' debt free for a year now, but managed to pay a lump sum of £8000 off the mortgage, so if we can count that, it makes the running total

    £781538.25

This is an amazing thread. To anyone sat at home wondering whether to chuck an extra tenner at the credit card this month take inspiration. All those extra tenners add up and judging by this thread DFW's are making a huge dent in the personal debt figures.
keep up the good work everyone:T

I've managed to pay off £5200 this year - so running total is now £810426.05 (that is if my sums add up - would you trust a woman £40k in debt!)
