How Much Have WE Paid Off Our Debts In 2006?

I started on this site Dec last year approx £25,000 in debt, determined to pay it off. Then I lost my job whilst I was on maternity leave. Then OH lost his. We were doomed! We both got jobs again and caught up then OH lost his job AGAIN! UPshot of this is that whilst we have not really made inroads into debt busting, I managed to reclaim £4,200 in bank charges. I am no longer OD at the bank and with the help of this site we have managed what had to have been one of the toughest years we have ever had. OH got a new job yesterday - he starts on 8th Jan so guess what - back to the begining.

So add the £4,200 to the list and you get £127,734.24P!!!!!

Hi, my light bulb only recently lit up, but I started wearing my debts down last feb. This is a great idea as I just sat and worked out that I paid off £4590 since then. Makes me feel kind of..........well.......a lot better. Merry Christmas
