I ditched the credit cards this year to become debt free. Thats another 2000 to add to the total.

so that should make it

Well done everyone - I think this thread will inspire any newbies who might join the site in the New Year - lots of people get their lightbulb moment around the time of New Year resolutions. At the beginning of the year i had £9680 debt

Now i have around £3500 so i have managed to pay off £6180 !!! :j . Partly due to the sale of my old car (settled the finance).
So that takes our running total to

398219.39
