It's not much but it's due to this site so my contribution is £653! I've also saved the expense of potential debt from continual overspending but that can't be quantified!

    Grand total £243,785.44

    :money: :T

Well done to everyone else who's paid off so much!

After completing my maternity leave in January 2006, we consolidated our debts in June onto a 0% card and finished paying them off 1st December. I also finished paying off Cahoot loan yesterday and we are officially debt free (bar the mortgage) to start 2007!

Total debt paid off this year £7800 :T

(Started maternity leave again this December ;) and determined not to get into any debt this time round).

Edit: Sorry total is now: £269,585.44

What's frightening though is that we are only talking about a few people here, how much debt must there be in the world?
